Once again I find myself driving to the local gamestop store and taking a dive into their local archive of 360 games to hopefully find a treasure of some sort that I might of over looked. What games did I end up with? Three rpgs actually this time around, starting with naruto rise of the ninja for only ten or so bucks. Naruto 2 broken bond for thirty maybe less I can't remember exactly and last but not least Mass Effect which is my second copy of this glorious gem of a game. Seriously, the soul reason I bought Mass Effect again is just because after watching the trailer for thesequal for the third time and wondering and plotting what type of twists and turns is awaiting in itI just got a hunger to walk down the well beaten path of the orginal once more.
Anyways,if youfast forward 72 hours after purchasing all three games you would find me in my current condition, which is annoyed at two of the games and yet to touch upon the third. The Naruto series I conclude is a waste of time and effort which is harsh to say but gosh they both pretty much are. First of all I'm not for cell shading, I don't know why I just don't care for it very much. Even through if I have to look at the first game and then at the second and make a conclusion about both titles I would say the sequal beats the orginal with eye candy appeal and story. But and thats a big wide load on the back of a sumo but... play wise I would choose the first. No matter how crazy it may sound I like the first one better just because I can choose to use the digital directionbuttons to control my character in fights which I can't or I didn't know I can in the second game. True dat playas I like the fight modes in both games but darn it in the second game I felt the controls lacked soo much response with the analogy sticks that towards the end of game where the bandit ninja dudes were just walking around I felt that I should've still kicked their bewee bums around the forest like high schoolers would with kindergardeners. But noo these little cpu fools danced cycles around me on the normal difficultly all because the controls with the stick instead of the button just sucked soo badly that I just couldn't use the darn thing.
But it gets worse,I think theres something off with my 360 or something because naruto rise of the ninja freezes on me in random places of the game. The disk is fine but the game in itself just picks and chooses when to freeze. I had this same problem with saints row 2, if I get the game to spawn too much stuffon the screen thats trying to blast me the processor in the unit I think gives out and freezes the game. But those two games are the only ones that does it to me through so thats why I haven't bought a new system yet. Oh well, I beat the second game in 11 hours and 3 seconds which should've been two hours sooner really when I think about it. Due too bad control set up and all those stupid side quests the programers put in for filler I mean. Oh well I can't even get very far at a time with the first without the game freezing on me so that games a disappointment constantly. But its still going better then the first through with the story and filler balancing through.
Anyways if any of you readers out there wanna refer a game on the 360 to me go ahead I'm pretty much dry right now...
