Locked 'n Loaded

Well, now that I have finished my 10 pages article (we use a font size of 8 for our magazine! In normal size of 14, it actuallty was a 16 page article) for "8th Art" section of our magazine, I am ready and ... well, not kicking. This article was a big challenge to write, and it really wore me out. 8th Art section of our magazine is about "how that really cool game was made, in details", and in my case, it was about Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion. You can guess the rest.
And man, I really need to get some sleep.

Working In a Game Magazine

From now on, I am a senior game editor in a game magazine. It is a national magazine called Bazi Rayaneh, so you probably haven't heard of it. It is about all platfroms and all genres. I will preview Gothic III and Hell Gate: London for the next issue.

2006 and 2007: A good period for PC SP RPGs after a long, long time

After a long, hard time for PC SP RPGs, this year - and hopefully, the next year- will be a good time for us. Here is a good list of what we have seen and what we may see:

BioShock
Border Zone
Daemonica
Dark Messiah of Might & Magic
Dragon Age
Dungoen Siege 2: Broken World
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (And possibly, expansions)
Elveon
Fable 2
Fallout 3
Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows
Gods: Lands of Infinity
Gothic 2 Gold
Gothic 3
Hard to Be a God
Hellgate: London
Kingdom Under Fire: Cicle of Doom
Legend of Mir 3
Loki Mage Knight: Apocalypse
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
Neverwinter Nights 2
Night-Watch
The Roots
Silverfall
Space Rangers 2: Rise of the Dominators
Titan Quest
Two Worlds
The Witcher

A little bit too odd.

Yesterday I bought Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth for PC (HeadFirst,Bethesda,UbiSoft). It was an odd game, but you have seen nothing yet. When I tried to add the game (PC version) to my collection, GameSpot told me the game is not released yet! Anyway, I have other game like this (some of them were released in 2004 or 2005) which accordng to GameSpot, are not released yet.Maybe those guys wait for the US release of games? Or forget those games?

Edit: I own an import (Japanesse) version of Guilty Gear XX #Reload: The Midnight Carnival for PC since 2004. This is just another example.

PC SinglePlayer RPG Union

I'll be starting my union soon. It is all about defending PC SP RPGs, and everybody is welcome to join in. Stay tuned, PC RPG is SAVED! (Well, I suppose that makes me the messiah?)
I need a name for my union, so everybody: what is the best name for it? Hurry up, PM me! Tell your opinion!

Welcome to Canopus!

Welcome! For the starters, I am a PC gamer, so if you want to speak your mind, talk about PC games first. My favourite genre is RPG (Role Playing Game), so RPG fans from all around the world are welcome here. . I am also interested in FPS, TPS, Strategy and Action-Adventure games. I don't like sports, racing and dance games, so don't even think about them while you are here!
Thanks, and have a nice day.
