Like i said, theres no atmosphere, the game is littered with ammo and health, and the enemies are just plain frustrating to fight. I played through it on Hard with no vita-chambers, but youd have to pummel them with gunfire while the wildly jump about. There was nothing there to engage you in your environment, how could you feel the world around you was in decay when its inhabitants are as scary Grunts in Halo? No atmosphere...[QUOTE="-Pred-Alien-"][QUOTE="WasntAvailable"]
Mabye diffrent people find diffrent things scary, just as people have diffrent tastes in games.
BioShock wasn't very scary though, but to say it had no atmosphere? The setting alone was impressive nevermind the music, sound, voice acting, graphics, etc.

I'm speechless... Utterly speechless... HOW does Bioshock NOT have an Atmosphere?!
I am hoping he will reply to my post on what he believes atmosphere means.[QUOTE="gmc2u_64"]Odd, I didn't notice much Pop-In (I don't even know what you mean by "Unreal Look").[QUOTE="Cherokee_Jack"] Oh, but it does. Very nasty case of the "Unreal look", not to mention constant pop-in.-Pred-Alien-
But saying that Bioshock looks BAD by Today's Standards has made you a fool in my (And others) eyes.
It still looks great, its just thats its lost its technical wonder. The whole pop-in thing is way over-blown in general. Most games just exhibit when loading a level or something. All games loose there technical wonder a year or two after they are released, games evolve. Do you honestlly expect it to look as amazing as games released in 2009, and even so I would still give the visuals an 8 almost 2 years after released[QUOTE="WasntAvailable"][QUOTE="-Pred-Alien-"]Nailed what, making assumptions about people liking different games? Its a joke when people say the game was 'scary,' i honestly cant trust their judgement if they find child-like rambling lunatics (no not in a twisted cool way) adding to the tension.-Pred-Alien-

Wow you really are 'teh hardcore':roll:I am the opposite of hardcore since I mainly play rock band so don't generlize. But yes most of the people who hate bioshock like run-off-the-mill shooters, just like inpacient gamers hate MGS4. It's all hate really. One thing is not to like a game, another thing is saying its horrible.
