Yes, it is possible to get a Nintendo Wii for $79. Amazon.com has started their customer vote promotion where customers vote on three different products at ridiculous prices. There are a total of six rounds of three items.

This week the three choices (and prices) are as follows: Nintendo Wii ($79), PS3 40GB ($139), and the Xbox 360 Arcade ($99). You vote for the system you want to purchase and the item with the highest voting percentage will be sold at that price. Winners will be chosen in a random drawing. There are 1,000 units of each system available. The items that don't win can be purchased for a smaller reduced price by the chosen "losers" for $319 (PS3) and $219 (Xbox 360).
