I haven't posted one of these in a while and I doubt anyone will read this but oh well. Anyway I'm kinda mad at Microsoft right now. Unfortunately when Call of Duty 4 came out I was out of cash, so I had to put it on my Christmas list and wait over a month to get it. Well on Christmas morning I happily opened a package to see Call of Duty 4. I didn't play it at first though because I was spending all my time with Guitar Hero 3. So about 2 days later I finally put it in my 360. I immediately went to the multi-player because I spent hours and hours with the beta. I played a few matches and started playing Guitar Hero again. Then the next day I tried to play it but I kept getting all kinds of messages saying stuff about not having an active network. Then I went to the dashboard and it wouldn't even load. I waited all that time and right now I can't even connect to a game because Xbox Live is being stupid right now. I paid $50 for it and some of that money is being wasted right now. I can't even download the Kingdom Under Fire demo to try that out. It just makes me mad that I pay money for this and they can't get it fixed. It's not like Microsoft doesn't have the money to do whatever it takes to fix it. It's been going on for 2 or 3 days now. I just hope they fix it soon.

Last Sunday was my birthday, I happily received $580 worth of birthday money. My old TV was starting to act weird and I knew it was time to upgrade. I flipped through the pages of the weekly Best Buy ad and I noticed a 26" LCD HDTV by Insignia for $399. It looked like a good TV but I hadn't heard of the brand before, so I did a little research and found that it was a pretty good brand. Monday morning I had my dad drive me to Best Buy so I could pick that baby up. After spending five or six minutes trying to find the exact TV that was in the ad I decided to ask a salesmen where it was. He spent a few minutes trying to convince me to purchase a bigger TV but I wanted the one in the ad so finally he showed me where it was. Finally I was the owner of an HDTV. It's a very nice TV for the price. I'm really satisfied with my purchase. Anyway here is a pic of my new TV.

This morning I arrived at Circuit City 5 minutes after they opened. I was hoping I would be able to find a copy of Bioshock. When I walked to the game department about 4 other people were there. 1 man bought a PC version and everyone else was waiting for the Xbox 360 version. One of the men working there told me they were trying to find the box that had all the 360 copies. Finally 2 salesmen came up the counter holding 7 copies. While I had been waiting more people had arrived to purchase it. One of the salesmen grabbed a copy and told me to follow him. He let me buy it without waiting in line because yesterday afternoon I tried to pre-order it there but for some reason their computers wouldn't let me, so I ended up getting it before anyone else. So now I shall end this so I can go play it. :D
