You guys do remember that IGN used to be called Nintendo64.com, right? Those were the days... we paid for the interweb by the hour, Sega was still selling consoles, and Peer Sneider was running the best game site of its day-Nintendo64.com.

I'm not suggesting that this fact implies a Nintendo bias; infact most of the time I think IGN gets it right and comes across as completely legitiment with regard to how they score their games. But then again... I have always gotten the feeling that, more so than any of the other major game sites, IGN has always championed Nintendo a little harder than most.

Look, I think I speak for all Wii fans when I say "Its obvious the wii is graphically inferior to the other two consoles-get over it cause some of you have been whining on either side of this debate since day 1."

And so what if it can do some kind of mapping? The next gen wii titles, while not amazing visually (no where near 360), are at worst... visually appealing. The wii will never be a PS3 or XBox but I take solice in the fact that the graphics, while unimpressive initially, aren't going to be limited to the previous graphics ceiling set by the GC and will continue to improve. To hear some tell it... its as if the Wii will never be able to do more graphically than the best GC games. Of course that's clearly not true, as anyone who has seen Mario Galaxy, MP3, etc. can agree... the graphics on several games in the fall lineup are sharper and better than any GC game.

If you want graphical prowess so much you have two other options, each with their own faults and strengths, and most likely the ideal setup is the wii and one of the other systems (which are nearly identical anyhow). No way, though, will we ever see a game as ugly as farcry again... I hope.

If you've never played Kirby... go for Kirby, it's a lot of fun, although I personally prefer Kid Icarus.

Honestly, you can't go wrong with either one.

I never played the original CC (and I havent played a FF game since like... 8) but the reviews weren't great. If the reviews for the new CC are positive (8.0 or higher) I'll probably buy it and give it a try, but I'm more excited about a lot of different unrelated games.

I'm looking forward to Dragon Quest for Wii more actually. And while I'm on the topic of RPGs, whats it gonna take to get a sequel to Skies of Arcadia?!

Man... RCR is one of my favorite games of all time, and one of the best NES games around. In my opinion, it is an even better game than Double Dragon (and Double Dragon rocks) and anyone that hasn't played it needs to get it when it comes to VC.

Furthermore, this game, along with Kid Icarus, Punch out, and Kirby's Adventure, needs to be brought back in a big way.

The wii has been out like 6 months... even if every 3rd party pledged support right now you wouldn't see the results of such a pledge for at least a year probably. It takes a little while to make a game, you know.

Chill... the support will come.

[QUOTE="BlakeBroussard"]

Toad would be a great addition, and adding Mouser would be cool too. I'd also like to see the Eggplant Wizard, Birdo, big bomb-omb, maybe King Goomba in some form, and I think most people agree Lil Mac would be a great addition. One of Lil Mac's moves could be calling on his trainer Doc and having Doc perform a move called "The Nintendo Fun Club" in which he'd cause early editions of the Nintendo Fun Club newsletter to rain down on the enemies causing damage.

I do want to see Wario in the game (and am glad he is)... but I straight up don't want to see Waluigi-he can stay in the sports games but please don't put him in one of the more mainstream titles. Also, I think it's time Wart gets some love-he's been missing for far too long and I think he needs to be an unlockable character or something. Finally, what about Daisy? She was an alternate costume for peach in Melee... I think it's time she gets some more love as well. Put her in SSBB I say!

I think you are giving too many characters the free-pass on who should be in SSBB.  We really don't need Wart, Daisy, Birdo, or King Boomba.

I think YOUR FACE is a free pass! I'll give you king "boomba" and maybe even birdo, but  you can always use another female character and Daisy hasn't gotten enough love in the past for a relatively major damsel. She's Luigi's girl after all! Plus, she's pretty much already an alt. costume for Princess Peach so why not just take it a litle further.

And Wart is the man (toad?)! He was a good villain and was the bad guy behind one of the most bizarre mario games ever, why not bring him back in 3D to do battle with his old nemesis Mario? If there is room for a lot of characters I think Little Mac, Wart, and Daisy would be awesome additions. Of course if I had to pick one... I'd pick Lil' Mac hands down.

What do I play? What... was that supposed to be some thinly veiled jab at the games the Wii has? What do you play smart a**?

I play (or have thorougly played, enjoyed, and beaten) the GotY Zelda: TP, Super Paper Mario, WarioWare: Smooth Moves, Excite Truck, Trauma Center, Rayman:RR, Wii Sports, Marvel: UA, and I could go on and on. If your comment was a legitimate question, and I don't think it was, I apologize-I'm just sick of people attacking the Wii's games with little basis to do so.
