well the topic says "it has to be the greatest single player game ever", not "one of the best", so that's what I'm disagreeing with. I wouldn't count it out of the running for "one of the best" though.

mass effect was great, but I wouldn't go so far as to say the best single player game ever. it's really personal preference though.

I think the story, music and graphics were all awesome. I even think the combat was great. But I also think it was a bit short, even though the replay value is good. The sidequests were also really boring, all a variation of "Go here, fight these, kill this". Overall though it was great.

But the ending has Bioware in a tough spot. Actions throughout the games have influenced how the game turned out, and when your character walks off at the end saying (SPOLERS) "Ima go get those reapers" (SPOILERS), it makes you hope that you'll be able to continue the game with your Shepard at his/her level with all his/her abilities and his/her look. If you have to start fresh in a new Mass Effect with a different person, a lot of the stuff from the original Mass Effect will just be stupid, such as (SPOILERS) Rachni Queen's existence, Ash/Kaiden dying, and the Council's well-being (SPOILERS). Hopefully they can allow you to continue with what you had. That'd be cool.

I recently bought Titan Quest for the PC, but it's a DVD rom and my computer just had two CD-drives. Now I could get one transferred from my old computer but I'm just scouting out my options. I was thinkg about buying an external dvd-drive, maybe one that connects through USB, but I don't really know of any good deals for one. It needs to be able to play games that are on dvd-roms, and probably play movies too, but I don't need to be able to write dvd's or anything. although if it's part of the system it wouldn't hurt. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance.
