I dont know where you live but at the walmart I work at you can get a 30 inch widescreen HD sanyo for 399.we are over stocked and trying to get rid of them. Its one of the old CRT style ones but it still looks awesome.

You can be very social with video games. They can bring many people together. Now its not always under the nicest circumstances but still. It is. Whats your idea of being social? Im just saying. YES, I agree you arent meeting people in real life but you are getting to interact with litterally millions of people all over the world. That to me is a social environment.
