PS2 games are for a PS2, not a PS3. If i play a PS1 game i still get out my trusted PS1 its just assosciation. Ps2s are dirt cheap and will get cheaper so just buy one and stop moaning. Backwards compatibility is crap because noone actually uses it. I just get a slimline PS2 and use swap magic. That means I can play any PS2 game imported or otherwise and just leave my PS3 to do its own thing
