Not sure if they are JRPGs or not, but you can try Soul Blazer, The Illusion of Gaia, Lagoon, and Ys III: Wanderers from Ys all for SNES. Those were the non-turn based RPGs I grew up on during the time.

The only rated T RPG I can think about right now that would be able to fill your needs is Final Fantasy XI, but that's if you have the money to pay for it.

Lost Odyssey is a great choice with amazing graphics, good music, and turned based battles if you're looking for a new 360 RPG to keep you occupied. Eternal Sonata is also a great choice with a fun battle system and great classical music. Blue Dragon is a bit on the mediocre side, but it's still a pretty good game and it can keep you occupied. Enchanted Arms is another alright game, a bit on the mediocre side, though. Enchanted Arms can also be an easy 1K boost to your gamerscore. If I had to choose, I would choose between either Lost Odyssey or Eternal Sonata, not to mention that you can pretty much get both of them used at cheap prices. If you just want a new RPG in general and you have a PS2, try looking up some titles for those. PS2 has loads of RPGs that you might like.
