DMC4 playing like previous DMC games is a blessing for any fan lol thats nothign to complain about. Atleast it didn't get the Soul Calibur 3 effect where they messed up the gameplay.

[QUOTE="Jecht01"][QUOTE="Spindoc_SEI"]

I was happy to see that the game play is more like the first Devil May Cry instead of the third one. The third one is the worst game in the series. I might actually have to pick it up now.

I own both a 360 and PS3 and I'll be picking it up on PS3. The game just plays and feels better on the PS3 for some reason in my opinion.

You think DMC3 is the worst one out of the series? :| Try DMC2

I'm serious. DMC3 was all about arena arcade-type game play. Go to a room, defeat a huge batch of enemies, rinse and repeat. The second one was actually almost as good as the first in my opinion. I remember one area in the third one where for fifteen minutes straight you did nothing but fight enemies in the same room. At least you could actually do something else besides fighting in DMC2, like explore. This is why DMC4 looks really promising to me because the game is more like the first two in the series. I made up my mind that is the game play was anything like the third one, I wasn't going to buy it.

lol you fought enemies for 15 mins straight? are you that bad at the game?

and what mode was this on?

Seriously, they seem pretty similar except Resistance 2 has different lighting. Personally I like them equally but I never played either Resistance.GodLovesDead
Exactly, if you did you would know the only similarity is they both have Chimera. R2 trounses R1...horribly.

Everything has been significantly bumped up. Lighting, textures, poly count, animation.
