[QUOTE="BlueChicagoRain"]That happened to me so many times. Unbelievable. >_< As far as I can tell, there is no guaranteed solution. You could try going over to one of those disc fixing shops (No idea what they're called) or buy one of those scratch removers. With all the games that I've had scratched like that, I tried the toothpaste trick, the toilet trick, and pretty much anything you can imagine. If you're wondering why this happens, Microsoft forgot to include a disc guard in the system to prevent it from moving while its playing. Basically, if you move your Xbox while the disc is in motion, that's what you get. I guess Microsoft was just too lazy to bother with that problem, or just didn't notice it. But its pissed off a good amount of gamers by now. R.I.P. my copies of Dead Rising 2, Red Dead Redemption, Fable 3, and L.A. Noire. .-.ShaineTheNerd
You were warned. The papers that came with your console, and I think there may be a warning on each game case, say specifically that you should never move your console while a game is on. Why the hell would you move your console anyways?

It doesn't come on each game case. And be honest here, did you really read the manual that came with it? And I didn't move my Xbox on purpose. I had it standing up and when I was walking I kicked the table I had it on by accident and it fell over. I had it on because I just left to get a drink. Then I heard the noises and panicked so I took the disc out as fast as I could (Dead Rising 2) and saw the ring. For some reason that basically broke my Xbox too. Every time I put a disc in there was a 50/50 chance it would make those noises again and scratch my disc. Thats how the other 3 got scratched. But you're right, it is my fault for not reading the manual. That better not be a problem with the next gen console though.

Far Cry 3 is an AMAZING game! I would definitely recommend it. Although I havent played any Bioshock or Borderlands games, they do look like good, solid games. But If I had to pick one, I'd say Far Cry 3.

Youre actually pretty lucky. For the spring sale they're giving away the walking dead episode 1 free and 2-5 are 50% off. ust go to the section on the dashboard where it says something about the spring sale and browse around that till you find it.

You could try Minecraft, but as the guy above me said, it only works on HD TVs. If you're looking for something like CoD or Halo, I would recommend Far Cry 3. It has a completely seperate co-op campaign and you can play split screen or online. It also has a multiplayer mode but I don't think its split screen.
