I've been getting so pissed off on system wars lately. I mean, some of the people on these boards just piss me off so eff'ing bad, it's unbelievable. People who wantto see a system fail is just absolutely **** ridiculous. What happened to people playing games to have a good time? Who cares if your system sells more, and just because you don't have a game on a system, why on Earth would you want it to fail? And even further, how can you find joy in a game doing poorly? Seriously, it's **** embarrassing and it looks so bad on your part. Seeing posts of people laughing and making fun of a game that does poorly is just disgusting to me.

And on another note, when a game does well and people search for any possible way to discredit it is just as bad. For example, Gears 2 recently got a 9.0 here at GS, and people are calling it a flop. ARE YOU **** KIDDING ME?! A 9.0 is such a hard score to get to begin with, such proof is evident in the fact that I believe PS3 only has two games that got a 9, and 360 has one. That means that only three games ALL YEAR manages to score a 9.0. (I realize MGS4 got a 10, but that's besides the point.) In no way whatsoever is a 9.0 a flop, even when compared to Gears 1 which got a 9.6, I believe. Yea, the score is lower, but it doesn't mean it's a flop.

Basically, what I think it boils down to is this horse **** attitude people have on these forums where they feel like they HAVE to have the best system. It isn't even about fun anymore, it's about wanting other things to fail that you don't have. Now I don't even own a 360, but I'm pumped Gears 2 scored a 9 because now I can play it at my friend's house and it's another quality game on the market. People should enjoy gaming for the fun and entertainment it brings to their lives; and if you don't have a particular console, I honestly don't see a single good reason in wanting it to fail or perform poorly.

Well, there's my rant; I'm sure I could have made this better and put more thought into it had I actually put some time in it, but this was just off the top of my head and hopefully people comment on it and hopefully people agree with me.
