I'm a Hornets fan and I'm happy for the signing, but I was looking foward to Julian Wright getting the chance to play more next season. I think he has a good chance of being a top level player down the road, if he gets enough experience.

Definetly the OK City Stealers, lmao, because they tried to steal my Hornets and finally suceeded in stealing the Sonics. BobbyTee26

Sorry, didn't see UssjTrunks' post before I typed that. Nice to see someone else thinks like me.

The NHL is in the worst shape, and it's a shame because that was a heck of a Stanley Cup. You can also tell they're in bad shape when they're draft is on a Friday night.

NFL- league that's doing good. Unless you're a Cinncy Bengal when you're making the noise in NFL news, and it's not good.

Bad shape because the Draft is on a Friday? Thats the dumbest thing I've ever heard...what does that have to do with the state of a league?

And you think only the Bengals are having brushes with the law? How about Buffalo's Marshaun Lynch and his vehicle hit and run on a woman at 3 a.m? Pacman, I mean Adam Jones do I need to go futher there? Marvin Harrison's link to a shooting? Jevon Kearse, Cedric Benson, Dwayne Jarret, Darren Stone, and Jared Allen's DUI's and issues with alcohol

I will tell you two on the field issues the NFL does not have to worry about that the NHL does. Players attempting to kill each other (literaly) during the game, and the racial divide.

What racial divide? Yeah there are much fewer Black players in the NHL, but there isn't any racial tension or anything. Fights never become that serious either. It's a method that players use to police the game themselves.

yah i was confused when he said there was a racial divide. Just because a few players took it to far(Simon) doesn't mean that every player is out with the intent to send someone to the hospital. Like said above, fighting, hitting, etc is used as a policing method. Seriously, if someone is roughing up your star player, your going to give him wake up call, just send a message to him, but it's not like your going to take your stick and gash him in the jaw.

So now you guys don't remember Bertuzzi trying to kill Brashear a few years back? Not to metion one of my favorite players, Ty Domi, did the same thing. And hockeys racial divide goes from top to bottom, all the way down to pee-wee sports. Baseball, Basketball, Football, even Golf and Soccer all have programs that reach out to youth of all nationalities. Tell of a program that does that for Hockey? Don't worry, I'll wait!!!lol

[QUOTE="DeltaCobra"][QUOTE="Jackass4Life"]All I ask is for players to actually be able to consistently make lay-ups and close shots. Also for some reason I feel like when the computer is using a superstar, they are able to do these ridiculous moves and crossovers while you can't. That may just be because I always use the Bulls :P.im_mr_brown
We got first pick this seaso, (rose) lets go playoffs.. Not sure whos going yet.. Probably henrick or benny cause hughes is staying..

i really hope its hinrich and huges that are traded. ireally think that deng and gordon would be awsome with rose at point. and i thnk this year thomas will flourish. is anyone else surprised that we didn't take chis douglas-roberts with the second pick? he dropped so far in the draft. but, anyways 2k9 over live any day. it would also be cool if they updated the roster for college hoops since there won't be anymore hoops series.

No more college hoops??? Are you serious?!?!?!?

Yi sure didn't stay long did he? But I figured Jefferson would eventually be traded off since all their other players have been leaving, and they aren't even close to being championship contenders again. Thats too bad cause they had a good thing going there for a while.Lostboy1224

I think you said the key. "Yi sure didn't stay long". Remember his agent told the Bucks not to draft him because he wanted to be in a bigger market. Now he's in the worlds biggest market. Players still run the NBA.

I might get killed for this one, but I would put Bruce Bowen on the USA team, and yep, I hate him too. But he is a great perimiter defender, can sink timely shots, and has as much championship experience as anyone in the league. Plus I don't like RHA-RHA college coaches handling top flight pros. I think someone like Byron Scott or Nate Mcmillian would be a better fit than Coach K. Other than that the roster is great and that guy is insane for putting LeBron at the 1 because he would dominate the ball.

Ill tell this much, Brandon is a much better all around player than Kareem. Plus, he can slide down to the 2 and let Granger play the 3 and when Granger sits, he can play the 3. That's something Bayless wouldn't give them. He's a 2 tru and thru.
