well first why does it matter who is first halo 3 is a great game too which deserves to be up there. Cod doesn't always need to be up first. Also I thought IW wasn't makeing cod5 so it wouldn't matter if they made new maps or not. raylewisnfl52

#2 It doesnt matter who is first! I was just making a statement.I was maybe trying to get peoples thoughts on this.Isn't that what forums are for? A game never deserves to be anything.Some people might buy Hail to the Chimp over Gears2.That is there business and I respect that.

Major nelson Live activity update showed Halo3 back to the #1 spot online game the last 2 weeks.Cod4 had that for a long time.Do you think Halo3 will hold up?If so are people maybe gettin a little bored with COD4?They need some new maps no question because in my opinion and people I have talked to in game gave mixed reviews on the first map pack.

I hated china town,creek is pretty cool,and broadcast is so-so.

Here's the question,are they gonna refrain from any COD4 map packs soon because they want to try to push COD world at war this holiday?From a marketing standpoint that would be the best bet for Activision because if they put out 3 killer COD4 maps and people start playin it like crazy,which they still do,than that might make people delay in getting World at War or maybe not buying world at War period.

they were counting down to E3 where they were going to annouce something new and important suposedly about a halo project, but they "publishers" pulled the E3 annoucnement. they will announce it when the times right probally in 3 months at the next big show. will they do another count down this time? maybe not just because they looked daft when the news was pulled but either way they will announce something when the times right. i doubt the announcement being held back means any delays for release as these shows can often have announcements way before release anyways. just something to look forward to and wonder what it was l, nothings permantly cnacelld thoughdjrobst

3 demos, 2 suck and 1 that is ehhh... OK?I know the demos is not total major nelsons fault but he is in charge of alot of aspects of xbox live.And he does appologize when a demo is not on schedule,so if he has the authority to do that knida stuff than he must have somewhat of a say-so.

I wasnt expecting Fallout 3 or Gears2 demos but they could have done ALOTTTTTTTTT better than that crap!!!!
