That would explain the problem then, hopefully that something that changes in the future. Other people said they were able to edit their posts so it confused me. And I was able to edit/delete a test thread in this forum which added to the confusion, but since I guess this forum isn't shared that would explain that. Thanks for the clarification.

I submit a post, then immediately check it and I cannot edit it. The only post of mine that even gets that the little white pulldown box is when its the only post in the thread and no one has replied. I can't edit for typos, or add reponses to posts made during typing my own post, or delete the occasional double post.
