Or maybe you have to calibrate it? Maybe you didn't activate the steering wheels controls in PGR3?Benny_is_here
I have the controller settings set to Wheel A. I'm running the FF version that came with the wheel. I wonder if the Xbox still thinks of it as a gamepad which would explain the erratic steering, there has to be something I'm missing. Are there any system settings I need to change?
This isn't an issue of "touchy" cars. This is completely unrealistic. It's either straight, 90-100% left or 90-100% right. No car is ever like that. Total waste of $150 unless Forza 2 redeems it.
There is a huge deadzone, the car will turn a tiny bit but after a certain point it will jerk all the way to the other side. It is almost like there are two settings, drive straight or slam the wheel all the way. No smooth motion whatsoever. To take turns I practically have to slow down to a snails pace and "seasaw" the wheel back and forth to not crash. I can't take the turns smoothly like in every other driving game in existence.
Is it just PGR3? I know there really isn't any other driving game out there but if Forza 2 is like this then I'm not going to bother, I'll stick to GTR if that's the case.
