Final Fantasy IV was definitely worth a 3D remake with voice acting and additional story segments. I do agree that usually there are few changes, but if it's a great game from years ago, I'm kind of a sucker anyway. Especially for Final Fantasy.

Don't let the fact that there are no trophies stop you from buying a great game. Especially if you have played the previous games in the series.

I think it's possible that this will be out before FF XIII in the U.S. We are gonna have to wait for the 360 version since FF XIII is coming out for both systems on the same date and the 360 version hasn't even started yet. While FF XIII Versus is supposed to be exclusive for the PS3 so they just need to domesticate it for the US.

Based on what I read, FF XIII is being developed for the PS3 in Japan. Then they are gonna localize it for the PS3 and XBOX while they develop the XBOX version.

I'm sensing a rushed port job here and even if they take their time, PS3 owners have to wait for the XBOX version to be done which means more of a delay.

That's wierd. I replayed metal gear solid, star ocean 2, and xenogears pretty recently and haven't had any problems. It shouldn't be due to the model because ps1 games don't need the emotion engine chip which the 80 gig took out. But I'm playing it on the 60 gig version.
