opps, I guess those people lied to me when they came in and told me that thier PS1 games didn't work.
I put the pros up just as a reminder and its the cons to the PS3 and the cons for the 360 are pros to the PS
PS3 is a great movie machine and not much of gaming system yet. 96% of current games for it are multi platform and I cant see a difference. I own all 3 systems and the 360 is the one I get most use out of. 1. It has a great on line system and over 10million on line 2. A huge library 3. You can mulit task with it like send a text or chat with a friend even if your not playing the same game. 4. over 100 arcade games. 5. Easy to navigate through menus. 6. Really fast down load rate. 7. Games load faster (PS3 do you want to wait a half hour to install Devil May Cry 4 to save a milla sec on loading time). 8. 120 gig hard drive is available. 9. It comes with HDMI cable. Now the only cons to a 360 is 1. That's its not wireless 2. No Blue Ray 3. No SD card readers but who needs that crap that's why you have computer. 4. You pay for 13 months at $49.99, oh well. 5. No blue tooth
Now because you hear of all the horror stories on line I will say this I have not once had a problem with the 360 elite version or have I heard anyone complain about them and also the new ones on the market are now using the Falcon chip and it runs much cooler then the previous chip. I will also tell you that my brother and many other friends of mine have had their systems since launch and have had no issues. Now as for the PS3 if you can find a 20gig or a 60gig refub at Gamestop then get it. They both are 100% BC unlike the 40gig is not all BC and the new 80gig is only part BC and it doesn't play all PS1 games. I will for warn you that if you use a HDMI connection you will have to paly with sound setting for some of the old PS2 games I had an issue with Devil May Cry 1 & 3 and the sytem wouldn't save the setting I have no clue to why but it sound right every time I reset the sound config. So if you plan on a buying a new one I suggest you keep your PS2.
As for me I'm still waiting for a game on the PS3 to make go OOOOWWW! and AAAAAHHH! like I did when I first played Gears of War and BioShock. Crysis is rumored for the PS but we will see.
Metal Gear Solid 4
starwars0000
All you who want MG4 will have to wait 6 months after PS3 release. It is in the rumor mills that Hideo Kojima says it can run on the 360 without a single tweak other then making it compatible.
As for me I would like to see Star Craft 2.
I will have to go with the Orange Box, 5 games in one little box you can't go wrong. I played HL2 on the PC but never bought the add-ons and I will say the add-ons blend well and the gravity gun is so cool to play around with.
honorable mentions:
Prey - so underrated a classic in my book
Eternal Sonata - Artistic wounder, Its like you stepped into a painting only down fall is its story line
