I agree with everything you say, yes some professional opinions may upset us and SOME of us may have reasons to believe otherwise but pretty much most of the gaming community cant take criticism properly. @nyran125tk exactly. But people are to trigger happy to have some logic in them and think, "mhmmm maybe there will be a newer one thats cheaper next year." This is merely stage one of rage, this will go on for at least another 6 months.

Danny is completely right, MS has been begging for forgiveness since E3 but it won't do them any good. The sad thing about this console warfare is this, MS is going to have to try a suicide mission to even try and win back the audience it lost. Softcore gamers is a market that doesn't matter at all, seeing as this consist of COD and BF players, most of their friends will persuade them to purchase the PS4. With this in mind there are a couple of things that MS could do before its release date (and these are my personal opinions)

They could, as Danny said, release the system without the kinect to keep the paranoid people quiet and reduce the price not by 100 but by at least 125-150 bucks to even begin to compete with the 400 dollar price tag. This is because consumers WANT a cheaper price tag, all these "forgive me" actions isn't doing anything to win back gamers, people want to pay less for this because "muh monies".

One other thing they could do is use the gap between the release dates of both systems to their advantage. By releasing the system early, consumers who want to buy this console will play it, find all the problems with it and then release a better upgraded version of the system when the PS4 comes out that will include a cheaper price tag and a kinect free Xbox one and maybe even alternative colors for those who care about the look. There is a problem to this tho. People tend to be stupid waste money on something that know they know will be upgraded soon (AHEM APPLE USERS!!!). Because of this, releasing the upgraded version will cause an uproar to come out claiming they were cheated by MS and demand some sort of compensation.

We need to learn that this is a business, they need to make money somehow, and it is the duty of us consumers to be smart about buying systems. People who can't afford buying two of the same systems STOP!!! wait till the newer version comes out next year. Also if your excuse is to buy a PS4 at launch DONT DO IT!!! It will have glitches and bugs and there will be an uproar as soon as it comes out.

That sums up everything i have to say.

My problem with this is the price... It could drop to around 400 bucks if the kinect wasnt included. Anyone else with some other reason similar to this one "NO KINECT CUS MUH PRIVACY" Is retarded. Its as simple as disconnecting the thing when you turn off the xbox one. or if youre to lazy DONT BUY ONE AT ALL.
