[QUOTE="nintendoboy16"]Please Ninty, do this. No more Link and Samus for a while. Bring back Fox, Falcon, and Kirby.shoryuken_

This guy loves his Star Fox, I see him posting in every thread to bring back Star Fox, which isn't a bad thing. I don't agree with you on Zelda and Metroid, those games help carry the system.

I agree. There hasn't even been a fully developed exclusive Zelda on the Wii yet, so Nintendo shouldn't just scrap Zelda for Star Fox. Zelda is their best series IMO.

Well, Wii owners (like myself) are also really tired of Mario, Wii *insert name*, Metroid, and Zelda shoved down our throats. What we need is either a new IP and/or a ressurection of dead IP's such as Star Fox and F-Zero.nintendoboy16

Sales say otherwise.

"I'm very interested in social gaming. Left 4 Dead is social gaming. One of the reasons why we're on Steam and Xbox Live is because those platforms deliver that, they deliver hooking up with your friends. I have no idea how you'd do that on the Wii. I mean, I can be sitting there, watching Netflix on my 360, I see a popup saying that someone online who I know is playing Left 4 Dead, and I can go join them. How am I doing that on the Wii? Left 4 Dead couldn't have existed ten years ago without the technology to hook you up with your friends as easily as we do now. Even QuakeWorld, when that first came out it was this huge thing because you could hook up with any stranger, but it still didn't let you connect to your friends and there was a lot of work on that and on Steam, we had a lot of iterations of friends lists because it's not an easy problem to solve, there are a lot of things to want to do right. I don't know if those other platforms are doing that yet, so when I see a game coming out like that on the Wii, I just wonder, 'how's that gonna work?' Best of luck to them, that's totally cool and if it's a cool game I'll definitely buy it and figure it out, but I don't know how that works. I think it's hard to discount how powerful the Xbox Live community and Steam community are." - Chet Faliszek, Valve

Thoughts?

Fourth: The Wii has no good third party games.MM555

Saying the Wii has no good third party games is like saying the PS3 has no exclusives. The excuse is old and washed up.

Well, there's different reasons for everybo- er, the "hardcore" gamers.

1. "Hardcore" gamers don't want to ruin they're so called "image". cough*ShiaLebouf*cough

2. They're obseesed with RPG's and FPS's.

3. They don't have any patience.

4. They hate Nintendo.

5. They hate motion controls (which is stupid because if the PS3 had motion exactly like the Wii from the start, people would love it.)

6. They only judge it by the commercials for kiddie games.

7. They hate consoles all together.

[QUOTE="enygma500"]

I don't understand the review at all. In the video review he says that most of the games aren't too involving or good. but there are 3 or 4 really fun games. He then goes on to say that the game sucks while playing with yourself and is only relly good as a MP title. A MP title without online? Then he says the graphics are crap, like the first. Then says there's no variety in the sound. It's just enough to get the job done.

On any other system, regardless of controls, this would have scored closer to a 5 or 6. The whole video review was spent bashing the game then they hand out an 8? WTF?

hakanakumono

Like I said, the wii scores an 8 for it's 7s.

This is Gamespot, not IGN.

Ahh Zelda whining, it only stops when the next one hits the shelves. Once Zelda: Blade Chick is out, TP will be Jesus Christ on a disc.Thunderdrone

This.

When WW was released, people felt like spitting at Nintendo and the Zelda franchise. When TP came out though, they just suddenly flocked to WW and said " Aw, WW was better!" When Zelda Wii comes out, people will be praising TP like there was no tomorrow. I personally feel that TP is one of the most underrated Zelda games. WW, in my opinion, is completley overrated. Don't get me wrong, I loved WW, in fact, I gave it a 10/10. But I really wouldn't call it the best Zelda game out there. Horse Backriding > Sailing.
