Alright. As most of u should know ive done a couple blogs on movies to look forward to so I thought it would be cool if I did one or more on video games. I will decide to do more or not if this one works out. Alrighty to the games. Btw the order of the games do not matter.
1. Modern Warfare 2
The sixth entry in the Call of Duty franchise, this next game brings back developer Infinity Ward as the general in command. RPG ****level ups. For example holding your breath while sniping will give you iron lungs if done enough times. Sprinting grants you Endurance perk. Armor and clothing grants you other perks such as Juggernaut and Bomb squad. Physical Perks and Combat Perks separated by the actions required to advance in said category. Wider range in customization with weapons and equipment. Modern Warfare 2 comes out Nov. 10/09 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
2. Assassin's Creed 2
Delve deeper into the secret society of assassins with the sequel to the blockbuster action-adventure game. Assassin's Creed 2 is an epic story of family, vengeance and conspiracy set in the pristine, yet brutal, backdrop of a Renaissance Italy. Ezio befriends Leonardo da Vinci, takes on Florence's most powerful families and ventures throughout the canals of Venice where he learns to become a master assassin. This game retains the core gameplay experience that made the first opus a resounding success and features new experiences that will surprise and challenge players. Assassin's Creed 2 comes out Nov. 17/09 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
3. Halo 3: ODST
Halo 3: ODST's tale focuses on the legendary ODSTs or "Orbital Drop Shock Troopers" as they drop into the ruined city of New Mombasa, looking for clues behind the Covenant's catastrophic attack on the city. The new campaign chapter predates the events that unfold in "Halo 3" and gives players a new perspective through the eyes of a new hero in the "Halo" universe. New multiplayer maps ensure that the award-winning Xbox LIVE experience of "Halo 3" continues to thrive. Halo 3: ODST comes out Sep. 22/09 for the Xbox 360.
4. Splinter Cell: Conviction
The adventures of Sam Fisher continue in the fifth entry of the stealth-based series. In this game, all of the rules have changed, as the storyline takes a dramatic turn that will reinvent the Splinter Cell franchise forever. Fisher can no longer rely on his trusted bag of tools and iconic goggles. An investigation into his daughter's death unwittingly leads former agent Sam Fisher to discover he's been betrayed by his prior agency, the Third Echelon. Now a renegade, Fisher finds himself in a race against time to thwart a deadly terrorist plot that threatens millions. Uniting revolutionary gameplay enhancements with a high-octane, no-holds-barred storyline, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction arms you to the teeth with all the high-tech weaponry and lethal skills of an elite operative and invites you to enter a dangerous world where justice means making your own rules. Splinter Cell: Conviction comes out Q4 2009 for the Xbox 360, PC and DS.
5. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2
Thankfully, I did get to see some other cool stuff, but let's plow through the basics first. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 is the sequel to 2006's action RPG and puts you in charge of 24 playable Marvel superheroes and supervillians. You'll take the characters out in teams of four, destroy stuff for experience points, and make your way through the events of the Civil War comic book storyline. See, the government wants superheroes to give up secret identities and register. Iron Man agrees, Captain America doesn't, and a war ensues. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 comes out Sep. 8/09 for the Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, Wii, PSP and DS.
