Okay so i know this thread should be dead but I had to, no, needed to revive it.

I sent my Wii to Nintendo for repairs (it overheated) and they sent me a new one consequently loosing all of my

Wii friends in the process so...

you don't have to follow format, you can just send me a Private Message in my profile.

It sucks starting over so help me out

thanks. :?

the best generation was the Nintendo vs. Sega vs. Sony one.

Here's why:

~there was the controversy over cd's vs. carts.

~sony was this newcomer that stole squaresoft from their home at nintendo

~ this was the first console generation that introduced 3D

~ Virtua Fighter, Final Fantasy VII, Mario 64

~ Sega which has once been seen as this unstoppable force bowed out from the pressure of Sony's and Nintendo's success. (I really didn't see that coming)

I having been on the Sega side since the Genesis went ahead and got a Sega Saturn for Christmas. My favorite game for that was Solar Eclipse. Once the system was discontinued i went back to my old pal's at Nintendo eventually getting a Playstation as well. Ever since I've been a two console man.
Though now I dropped Sony for a 360.

Hey thanks everyone, I called Nintendo and they told me they'd take care of it once I ship it to them. I totally forgot about the ventilation on the bottom of the Wii. It's sitting right on top of my NES.

Unfortunately this means I'm without a Wii for at least two weeks.

Boy it's a good thing I have classes and papers to preoccupy my time... (sigh)

it's in a pretty open area. There's nothing obstructing it from the right side and the wii games are between it and my PS2 from the left side. But there's nothing above it, a foot of space behind it, and nothing to the right of it.

Wow it's pretty hot, good call. I hope the damage isn't permanent. As far as ventilation it's about a foot a way from the wall.

Recently while playing any game on the Wii I've started to notice these tiny blotches of flashing pixels and they're begining to worry me. Does anybody know what the problem is? I'd like to get it resolved before my warrenty runs out (if it can even be taken care of that way).

 Thanks people.

I want Mr. Game and Watch back.

He's the most unusual character in the game. And I love his animation.
