You go to read a GAME!! review and you see losers who never played the game, saying 360 better, PS3 better. I even saw comments on a PS3 exclusive game (God of War 3) saying 360 graphics will look better. :evil:WTF to the 10-th power. If you try to defend your system choice. You are clearly not satisfied with it and is constantly trying to find a better one. I have all the major systems and portables. Games are about software. I don't care if your systemcan do 1000 non gaming things. If you have no good software, then your system will die. We got 360, PS3, and Wii. That equals more software choices for gamers. ..................now I got that off my chest, lets talk about games. I Loved Batman:AA and can't wait for Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising.:D

Well the playing field is level. Price for new PS3 slim and current models except bundles are $299. Home add 10 movie theaters to video short movies and video and can seat 30+ per theater. New media bar upgrade with firmware 3.0 and alot more improvement to PlayStation network. PlayStation will be strong this year.

I read alot of reviews about HOME. They all say the same thing. Q&A time

1. Sony wasting their time. (answer) No! Home is a free service. Its optional to go into Home. Its like someone saying "Hey your a gamer right? Well can I give you a free on-line virtual meeting space. And if you want us to add something or make it better let us know on our PlayStation Home blog. One more thing. Can we the developers and managers of Home come and visit you to host special events." Alot of stuff in Home is there because we the gamers asked for it.

2. Home is not like XBOX LIVE. (answer) Its not. If it was they would get sued. It really doesn't matter what any gaming company decides. People will always complain. XBOX LIVE is a fixed formula. The service has limits on number of players. Few games has custom servers.Most Playstation games have custom servers. Zipper Coming out with MAG 256 players. Waiting on beta invite for that game. Playstation Network also invites you to more Closed beta testing of games. Not the pre-order stuff. While in Home you could host a game launch and continue to chat with others in area. 30-50+ gamers would have access to what games are launching. Indication on members joined will be displayed above your avatars head. All would launch from home. When you exit game you return where you left off. Or If you wanted to play Resident Evil 5. Just go to Resident Evil 5 game space. Just remember you can still do it the old fashion way straight from game without entering home.

3. Its boring. (answer) Yes it will be at first. Why? You need to make friends. Without friends who logg into Home you will get bored. Its a virtual chat room. Just like in real life. If your friendly and respectful, you will find a few gamers in no time. Many who hate home has no friends. The games they offer like bowling and pool is just the beginningfor home. The Hot spot now is the EA Sports complex where you can play 8 player poker for free. Game keeps track of winnings and post score board. Last two players on table, winner get gold or silver watches for avatar.

4. Loading screen take too long. (answer) If its a new area It will. Once downloaded you load form area to area like normal. Home is ever changing. New video and items added in mall all the time.

Other Home related stuff..... You can mute annoying gamers. Pick color of text bubble so when chatting in home each name has different color. Also texting others is range specific. You only see text thats 10-25 virtual feet from you. You can phone a friend in home and communicate through voice chat and using text at same time. Voice chat is in apartments and clubs only. Public voice chat got turned off because gamers new to Home did not know how to act. Also Home has Moderators in every home area. So if you text offensive stuff. They will call you out on it in text as a warning. Like having a baby sitter for free....lol. Apartment now support picture frames that you can post your own pictures on. We waiting for custom music and video to show up next. I hope this answers some questions. I try to go on LIVE as much as I can, but Home is more of a social thing.

Well Since I'm Paying to be a member I guess I should use it....lol Console Debates continue. Which system is best. Answer.....the one that makes you happy. Mine is the PS3. Reason? I have all the systems. Got a 360 because PS3 had no rumble support.Was used to rumble so I bought a 360 and PS3. Since most games were mul-ti platform, I purchased 360 games first. Bought only exclusive games for the PS3. Then something major happen last year. Was invited to PlayStation HOME closed beta. The open beta we have now is a shell of what HOME use to be. It had open voice chat in public areas and region jumping. I met some awesome gamers. Male and female. I've been friend with ever since. Have some English speaking Japanese friends too that I stay in contact with. We use to play our own music through headsets and stay in home for 6-8 hours. Added bonus, all the on-line games on our PlayStation system was launch ready. After dual shock controller came back to PS3, 90% of games I buy is on PS3. Just updated hard drive to 500 GB. Don't get me wrong 360 has the best on-line service, but too many kids makes gaming on live no fun. On PS3 you can actually make friends you want to play with as apposed to gaming with gamers with the same game.
