The only A10 game I liked ( and for that matter one of the rare few flight simulators ) was A10:Cuba: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2v2Lqqcqmc It had the most amazing physics and controls that no game could recapture even today. You could glide past a cliff, break part of the wing, lose control but still be able to somehow manage flying the beast. You could also break the landing gear if you smash too fast into the ground. I don't understand why almost every "sim" game makes the plane completely EXPLODE if you just so as scratch the ground?Majd_Abdulqadir

Wow I'm surprised anybody else has ever played a-10 Cuba! It was, and still is one of the top flight sims I have ever played, especially in regards to the physics model and the plane/ground interactions. I wish more flight sims would aim for realisitic ground physics.

That said, I have DCS blackshark and it does feature pretty good helo/ground physics. While I still think A-10 Cuba is better, I gottta say that the DCS series comes close. Also, the DCS series models the blackshark and A-10 at a level that has never before been done for PC's.

So I've finally decided its time i make the leap to the newest generation of systems (my PS2 is in its final death throws). I'm pretty sure that I want to buy the 360. SO Toys R Us has a special this week, with the 360 Elite you get Forza and ODST (everybody has this special). The kicker is that you also get 3 free platinum hits with the system. So that is 5 free games for $300.I think this is a pretty good deal

What i'm hesistant about is that with E3 only being 2 1/2 weeks away, Microsoft is going to announce the 360 slim with better features, and maybe even a better price. Do you guys think it is worth waiting a few weeks to see what happens? Or do you think I should jump on this deal now?

Is 700watts too much?

Is 2gb of ram enough for at least the semi-short term?

I need suggestions

Hey,

I have a AMD x2 3800 with 1gb ram (pc4200 @533mhz) and a Nvidia 6150 (sucks). It only has a 300w power supply http://www.power-on.com/atx12vhp300bt.html (Link to power supply.) The case is small, so overheating could be a problem for the hotter cards. It also has a PCIx slot available. Now, will i need a new power supply? I'd prefer to avoid purchasing one if it is at all possible.

Now, I am looking to upgrade the video card. I'd prefer to spend under $200, although I might use this card in a new computer that i'll purchase next year, so i am willing so spend an extra couple of $$$ if the performance gain is significant.

Are there any good cards in the $150 range that do not require a lot of power?

Lastly, I saw that people were saying they found the 8800gts 320mb available for $250, but i could not find anything for less than $275.

Thanks
