The fact that God decides that millions of people should die for reasons such as lack of food, water etc is enough to show you what God is like. If he is real he has no compassion at all.

Believing in God is just a way to try and transfer most peoples problems on to something else to give them hope. Like the guy said about his father. What else can you do in a situation like that but put hope in something that only exists because we put it there. I would be praying to god if anything like that happened to my mum even though I know he does not exist.
