Shame, game looked pretty scary when PewDiePie was playing it, but then again he's a huge scaredie cat. But I get when he says cliched, the game looks extremely simple in terms of design, and the whole "creature" appearing when you turn your back has been hacked to death. I think if they let people mod it like Amnesia, we'll start getting some better storylines.
Good job Danny, solid and honest analysis man. In all honesty, I believe that they should go back to the N64 platform idea. The N64 was built for gamers, by gamers. Sony based their Playstation off of that format, and so far it has worked for them. Nintendo can keep making their Nintendo games all they want, but make the console more accessible for third party developers. The N64 had a huge library of games made by third parties, and it blew the Playstation out of the water every time until the PS2. Increase processing power, HD graphics, maybe blu-ray and allow for parental controls online, and you have a solid platform. Add everyone's favorite Mario, Zelda and Donkey Kong game once a year and set the oven to 300 degrees for baking.
That's a shame. It's one of those games I've wanted to play ever since I was a kid but never got around to because I couldn't pay for the monthly subscription. I forgot it went F2P but now it's too late. Sad to see them go.
