Hello,

I've been lookin around for the last few week's/month for a new computer and i think i've found one at dell, its the "Dimension E521" to me it seems to be good value for money but is it ?

Specs Are :

Amd Live! 5000+
2048MB Dual Channel DDR2 533MHz [2x1024]
320GB (7200rpm) Serial ATA Hard Drive with 8MB DataBurst cache
And 256MB ATI Radeon X1300 Pro + + 19" flat panel monitor , all for £528 ($1,042)

I'd change the GPU to maybe a Geforce 8800 and get a new PSU in total it would cost about £767 ($1534)

More detailed look here : http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/dimen_e521?c=uk&l=en&s=dhs&cs=ukdhs1

(then click tech spec) :P

Overall does it seem good value for money ?

Yep, like david just said i could always upgrade the graphics later if i wanted too. I'm not bothered at running games at max setting i'd be happy to run at medium or even the lowest setting aslong as the games run smooth

I've Thought about building one myself but i really would'nt have a clue where to start. And the 7600GS 256MB discrete memory, is it powerful enough to run moden games on it ? Example: Command and Conquer 3 and UT3 when it's released ?
