I am a long time player of BF titles and although the new 2042 has great bits, it seems like the producers and decision makers are acting like they have never played a lot of the previous titles and are making bad calls.

Here are a few of my thoughts:

- Scoreboard, - let us spot the dodgy players, so we can kick from private servers etc, and you can deal with them, hiding them this way is not doing our opinion of you any favours. Also a more present anti cheat, that keeps the players updated and shows it is there. so we know its doing the job we paid for, this is not a free to play game like Warzone etc so show us what we get for that! i.e. cheaters caught and banned etc.

- Weapons, no meta! and stop changing them, simply base them on the bullet fired for damage, and the rest for optimum engagement range etc. so how you play dictates your setup.

- No commander mode, no real tactical choices.

- Too open landscape AND too easy sniping, pick one! e.g. If you think levels are fine, make snipers have to hold still for longer whilst their aim tightens, not get an easy shot whilst standing, after sprinting, looking down a sight, whilst being riddled with bullets from an smg being fired by a prone player at close to medium range!!! - the snipers aim should be nigh on impossible to get right in that scenario before being dropped.

- Aircraft controls, feel wrong (I guess tuned more to controllers for the larger market)

- Tutorials to setup keys and practice driving and flying vehicles would reduce the learning curves and make team playing better, especially if there was worth getting awards you got when completing the tutorials etc.

- Queuing for vehicles and more if there are more players would be good, also fuel and weapon reloading, repairing etc was a good thing in the older ones

- Better destroy able stuff, and levolution type events please!!!

- Rather that lame skills distributed over so many specialists, why not pick 3 or more skills from a pool you unlock more of over time? much better to tune your player to your style of play

- Quick reaction avoidance moves required like the side roll in BF2, or more feedback when being shot, as currently awful directional and too few a hit notifications before you drop.

...i'm sure there are more, but thats what quickly comes to mind.

NO PERFORMANCE UPGRADE??, was that testing the 64-bit or not?, Will DX10 make the above tested better/faster?....basically the tests show us that all that really matters is hardware, if your machine is better, then the only thing different IS your screen and interface! So if you want bugs, no-driver support and an itch to upgrade to a DX10 vid card (before DX11 comes out) then go ahead get it, but if you don't usually sit and stare at the interface/desktop too much and spend your majority of time playing games, then stay with Xp as it is less buggy, runs games just as well and you probably alreadyhave it so will not cost you any extra money. ...Like a reviewer says above, always wait a year before taking the leap into the new OS! trust me, its worth waiting!

I OWN 3 NES Consoles with loads of games, so I'll be playing for years to come!! Great list, have most of the top ten, but personally I think Bubble Bobble should have had a mention. Apart from that they were great choices.

1. Mario Brothers Games, especially platformers and Karts! (Everyone loves them) 2. GTA (All Series) 3. Battlefield (1942-BF2..and onwards probably) 4. Black Hawk Down & Joint Operations, similar game from above but from Novalogic, cos it's good to have 2 companies pushing each other for better. 5. Command & Conquer (Whole series, they rock) Anyone who didn't like the above hasn't got a clue!!
