I personally think it was a good idea for Sony to get rid of the 20gig PS3. When you are already paying $499.99 for a lower end model what's another $100. I have read some posts from gamers saying MS should follow suit and stop pissing off gamers. My answer to that is "YOUR CRAZY." I have no idea why gamers are getting pissed because MS is adding another sku or does not drop the core. They are just options for you to chose from and you are in no way obligated to pick one over the other. Wether Sony fanboys want to admit it or not the Xbox 360 offers a great, and I mean great console experience, at a resonable price. A lot of Sony fanboys rebuddled the elite system with "another $20 gets me a PS3" well in a month another $20 won't get you a PS3. A lot of people forget to tag on the cost of cables to suit your set-up with a PS3. Look I don't care who wins the console war. All I know is I love the Xbox 360 and I am looking forward to what the PS3 will offer.   

The new multiplayer mode annex is just what Gears needed! Gears is arguably is one of the best multiplayer games ever made and annex is a great addition to Gears of War! If you have not had a chance to get killed in this new mode you need to take the time to get shot!

The new issue of game informer has an article about the Xbox 360 achievement system being the key to winning the console war. I am not sure the achievement system alone is enough, but it makes a great point. I sit down and play Resistance, and if you have played it to, you know how challenging the game can be! Every time I defeat a tough enemy and the level ends the ding in my head goes off thinking the Achievement Unlocked icon is going to pop up. Yet I receive nothing for blowing up 10 enemies at once or defeating a widowmaker! I just don't feel the same fulfilment playing the PS3, Wii, or PC as I do on the 360.

I bought a PS3 at launch with Resistance: Fall of man to accompany my purchase. I never really played it that much because of all the great stuff that has been happening on the 360. Lately though I really started to get into the game and realized it is freaking amazing!!! It's a fantastic launch title that really gives the player a peak at what the PS3 can do. Overall I have been disappointed with the PS3, but RFOM alone is worth the purchase of a PS3. Just as Gears is worth the purchase of a 360!

These guys are mean!

Today my computer science class broke down the architecture of the next -generation systems on the market! I did not realize how powerfull the cell precessor is. 10 processors running a 3gigs each with a theoreticle potential of 30gigs! It was pretty amazing to see how much the PS3 can really do. Will developers be willing to poor their blood out to work with the architecture though! Programming legends such as John carmak have really blasted the PS3!

Yesterday a couple of friends came over with their Xbox 360! We hooked it up to mine then plugged into Xbox Live and played some player matches in Gears! 3v4 and we were the underdogs, yet we still came out on top. Serious fun when you get a few people together to boom a few noobs! Strategy is everything!
