Not really a blogger, ne'er blogged before :P DOn't imagine Ill make it a habit. But there is something I suppose I could say, and that is I'm fed up with the dumbing down of games dificulty these days (Im especially pointing at Nintendo) and censorship issues (Manhunt 2 being mutilated was a terrible tragedy, what is this, the 18th century? Are Americans so ignorant as to believe adults cannot make their own decisions on what to play, that parents are so aweful that the ESRB must protect their kids from violence they will just see on the news anyway?) Huff, blogging is exasperating :P
With more trivial matters, I'm also quite disappointed in Nintendo's "online" - friendcodes are just another example of someone else babying perfectly capeable adults and harming a communication. I love the wii, however its makers need to wise up and cater more towards us "Real" gamers (Ive nothing against traditionally "nongamers" or "Casuals" (The grandmas buyin' wiis, the kiddies...) but I honestly feel like I'm in the backseat (Where are all the challenging, mature games, Nintendo/3rd parties?) The wii can do so much, yet store shelves iare filling up with kiddy casual crap games and gems are being buried alive (Trauma Center, Godfather...) by titles such as Hanna Montana and Wiiplay :X I am so utterly tired of kids these days saying "Oh it doesnt have to be hard to be fun" - dead wrong. Anyone familiar with the flow chart of recreation knows if the dificulty does not match the user's abilities, fun is severly handicapped. (*cough, yes Im a REC major, lol...)
I feel thats a sufficient first blog, don't you? I own a Wii, a DS, A PS2 and Cube. Money is the only thing stopping me from obtaining a precious PS3 and Assassin's Creed ;-; Im glad MGS4 was delayed though, if I am to suffer without having a PS3 right now, other MGS fans can suffer too :P You know what they say about misery :P
