Just a post I found on a cool gaming blog.

With E3 done and dusted, all hype aside, it is excruciatingly evident that Sony has already won the next gen console war by a means of careful marketing in a minuscule 2 week gap.
By targeting the needs of the core gamer in contrast to Microsoft, Sony was able to somewhat (if unknowingly) create a hype and stream of negative energy in the direction of the Xbox One throughout the internet.
With the proud culture of gaming being flouted and represented on the internet through thousands of internet memes and posts filling forums and facebook timelines over the past few days it is hard to deny a that certain theme of discrimination of a product can be created within 24 hours.
Microsoft as a company blatantly ignored their core audience by endeavoring to market and create a console for the masses (highlighting its ability to play tv and serve as a netflix provider), and by this fault of not researching the core audience and what it wanted as a community it deserves its place as a humble follower to the Playstation 4.
As we have seen from the last week on social media sites, Playstation has won over the hearts of the majority of core console gamers by merely playing the market and giving consumers more of what they as a community have been asking for.Ā
Discuss?
The fact that the majority of gamers are all high class critics nowadays (in their minds) and critiscise everything. Constant complaining about newly released games, DLC and the fat cat gaming companies. There are good games and bad ones, companies are in the buisiness to make money and provide hours of entertainment, they do both well while supplying our needs decently. Stop complaining, get gaming.
So I've recently decided to get Premium for Battlefield 3. In my opinion it's a decent deal and I'll know I'll get my money's worth as I've played close quaters at a friends place a few days ago, fun stuff.
What I don't like about it is that they claim it to have been $50. This is a screw up, as it's 4000 microsoft points ($50), but there is nowhere I can buy 4000 microsoft points straight out in Australia for $50, the least I can find it for is 66 dollars direct from xbox live, all other retailers sell 3000 points from 50-55 bucks each. Bit unhappy, this point system is not ideal.
I feel it was made just to accomodate all the 13 year olds who didn't have credit cards to pay for stuff that's too old for them anyway :P
not sure if trolling, or just idiotic.
Skyrim has minor bugs, yes, but to claim it as being the worst game of all time is a massive overstatement, go b*tch somwhere elseĀ

To me pc will always be second to consoles due to the fact that you can't kick back with a bowl of cheetos and booze on a 55 inch with 3 others around you partying on a pc as easily compared to a console.

b-b-b-but yuo can connect controllers and hook your pc up to a big screen...hermits will no doubt cry that in the next 20min
yes that is true, but in a practical living room with friends over, a console is so much more user friendly, screw graphical capabilities
