I sort of see where the original poster is coming from here, I have played all the gears and Fallout 3 and all that good stuff, but Max Payne 3 does an amazingly good job of making realistic effects in terms of ballistics, also the fact that shooting someone in the groin in this game meant they would most likely die was something that made me really respect Rockstar, realistically the groin is a place where you are trained to shoot following 2 shots to the chest as it is a large cluster of nerves and arteries. The ballistic effects of a head shot with the handguns in the game looks very realistic as well, I can see where it can be unsetteling in terms of the level of realism the violence in this game contains. And thats why Max Payne 3 is one of the best games Iv played recently

America better get the money back it has put into that country from this. I am gonna rage if china swoops in and takes everything. At least there will be something to show for after 9 years of fighting and maybe the country will become a more stable place

Let me set the record straight here, all you need to be a officer in the US military is a bachelors degree from any accredited university, whether you are accepted to go to OCS or not is up to the officer recruiting command. You dont need to go to an academy, you can go to liberal arts school and get a bachelors in film and be commissioned a lieutenant. In the National Guard I saw a guy who had a bachelors in business management from a state school and he was the CO of the whole unit.

Now there are ways for enlisted men to become officers, but I dont feel like listing all of them, just know it is possible and it happens often.
