Michael Jackson's Birthday

Today marks the day of MJs birthday who would have turned 51  I am gonna miss that guy man no matter what people say about him he is and forever will be the King of Pop. Without him Pop would have never exsisted. Hope everybody else out there remembers him like I do cause like many young teens like myself who love his music we never got to experience him in his prime.

We will all miss you MJ!

PlayStation 3 Slim

So as we all know the whole big news yesterday and I think would continue today would be the PS3 Slim. The new slim is definately what I think alot of people have wanted for a long time and Sony finally announced it including a price cut to $300 for the slim and all current PS3's out right now.

In my honest oppinion the slim looks so ugly to me. The PS3 has always been that sort of luxury console that has all the features and looks that you would want from a console; but Sony decided to dumb things down a little which is ok because of the economy right now. However I think the reputation Sony has had is now gone. Now if you want a PS3 its very cheap, and is starting to get a lot of great exclusive games coming for it. If I were to get a PS3 I would get the old one right now because of the looks. I dont really care about the energy consumption or the size, I care about the looks and man is the slim ugly.

Xbox Live Subscription

Alright so I finally got my Xbox Live back. I got a good bundle that came with:

Xbox Live 3 Month Card

400 Microsoft Points

Xbox Wired Headset

All for $30.

Based off the math heres what it would cost if you bought all of this separately

3 Month Card- $20

Microsoft Points- $6.25

Headset- $20

Total- $46.25

Saved from buying the bundle- $16.25

Heres the link:

If you want a 12 Month Pack heres the link here it includes:

12 Month Xbox Live Card

Xbox Live Messenger Kit which is both the Wired Headset and the little keyboard attachment

Copy of PGR4

All for $70.

This imo is the better deal if you have the money and dont have any of the items included in the bundle. Here's the low down if you bought these items one by one.

12 Month Card- $50

Xbox Live Messenger Kit- $23

PGR4- $20

Total- $93

Saved from buying the bundle- $23

Here is the link for that

I was low on the cash so unfortunatly I didnt get this bundle. So yeah I am back online and I cant wait to start playing again and save up for the games later this summer

Xbox 360

So I just got done playing Madden 2010 demo on both PS3 and 360. Though I hate to admit it the 360 looks better to me. I think its cause of my old damn TV. I am starting to miss playing on my 360 too so I am gonna get my Xbox Live subscription back and a new headset and hopefully get a bunch of new games later this year.

Windows 7

The Best Windows OS made by Microsoft PERIOD no questions asked. If you have either XP or Vista pre-order or buy Windows 7 the day it releases.

I have the Final Windows 7 RTM Build and there are absolutely no bugs or errors, glitches, nothing. Unlike Vista, 7 is alot faster, stable, and easier to use than Vista. It boots up faster, general performance is faster. Its so good that it even rivals Windows XP in certain tasks.

Halo 2 Vista

I got Halo 2 Vista about a couple of days ago and tried to install it on my MacBook Pro which before I get to how it all went let me post the specs for it:

2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

2GB of Memory

160GB Hard Drive

NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics card

The results:

IT SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now before you start bashing me I want to point out that I am NEVER saying that the game in general sucks. Its the way they lie to you about what Specs your going to need in order to run the game properly. The game is SO laggy and slow for me. I already have meet the specs needed to run the game, and even went to this website where it tells me if I can run the game or not. It said that I can perfectly run it but man o man was it wrong........ Maybe its cause the graphics card is integrated.... idk but its a pretty damn high end integrated graphics card that for sure....... Anyway I am going to be returning this game soon and hopefully get a new Xbox Live 3 Month Card with Headset to get back into the action. Only thing I am worried about is my Xbox cause its been scratching my disks lately and I want to get a few games for it later on this year. Plus too my 3 year warranty is up with Microsoft and I am not gonna pay $150 to repair it. Hopefully I can get a 360 Elite too once this piece of junk brakes down.

MacBook Pro

I just wanted to share the world about my New MacBook Pro that I got not too long ago. It's the newest 13.3 inch model that Apple introduced at WWDC. For the people that are interested in the Specs for it here is the website for you too take a look at:

http://www.apple.com/macbookpro/

Click the buy now icon and check out the 13.3 inch models. It is the baseline model with the 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Proc.

This will be kinda of like a mini review of the MacBook Pro.......

Pros- EVERYTHING ABOUT IT IS FLAWLESS AND AWSOME!!!!!!!!!

Cons- NOTHING AT ALL!!!!!!!

Rofl that wasn't really a review or even mini review at all....... but just to emphasize I really love my MacBook Pro everything about it is just awsome to the performance and speed, to the multimedia/multitasking capabilities of this machine is unmatched. Take a note on the screen for it's the thing that a lot of my friends and even my bro have been talking about. It is just flat out BEAUTIFUL to look at. Millions of Colors on the display just Pop up and really give you a whole lot of detail. Also too the Aluminum Chasis of the machine is just pure genious imo. Many other companies have tried to rival this idea but have failed.

This is almost too big to even be just a single blog post lol. I just want to mention one last thing which is one of the many BIG reasons why I think people just need to take a look and maybe buy a MacBook Pro is because of one application specifically for only Macintosh Computers and made by Apple themselves one word.......

BOOT.......

CAMP

Now you may be wondering... WTF IS BOOTCAMP AND WHY DID YOU HAVE TO SCREAM BOOTCAMP!!!!!!!??????? WHY AM I NOW THE ONE SCREAMING!!!!!!! Well first of all calm down and second of all Apple actually names it BOOTCAMP for one particular thing that I am about to talk about.......

Basically to describe BootCamp in a nutshell, it is an Application that allows you to Run Windows OS NATIVELY on your Mac. So you can run games and programs specifically only for Windows on your Mac. You first have to have a CD copy of Windows in order to do this, than run the Bootcamp Setup utility and create a partition for the Windows OS specifically. So depending on how much space you have on your Macintosh HD will technically be shared with Windows to use as a separate Hard Drive for Windows. After that run your Windows CD and it would restart your Mac onto the Windows Setup screen just like you would when you first buy a PC.

Than go through the steps and afterwards you will be booted onto your Windows OS depending on which one you chose. Whether it's Windows XP, Vista, or 7. In order to install Windows 7 you would need a blank CD and download either the Beta or RC versions and burn it onto the CD than run the Bootcamp utility. Though your not done yet. Load the Mac OS X installation CD that you got when you bought your Mac and install the appropriate drivers to function correctly. After that then you would be able to access the Bootcamp application in Windows and would be able to adjust properties just like in Mac OS such as the trackpad for MacBook Pro users like myself and be able to choose which OS you want to start up with whenever you boot your Mac.

Now one last note before I go is that whichever OS you choose to startup by default you can choose which one you want to go into before it starts loading up. As soon as your Mac boots into the white screen hold down the alt/option key and it will allow you to access both the Macintosh HD and Windows Hard Disk Drives. There you can click on whichever one you want and it will boot up into that OS. To answer that question as to why I put all Caps when I first typed Bootcamp is because ironically enough Apple by default names the Windows Drive to BOOTCAMP when you load into Mac OS X. It's still named Windows when you see the hard disk drive when you execute the command i just said, but for some odd reason when you boot up Mac OS X you will notice that you now have 2 separate Hard Drives on your computer, one named Macintosh HD and BOOTCAMP which is the Windows Disk Drive. Odd I know but I just wanted to do that for comedy purposes.
