Recently got back into R6V2 (Rainbow Six Vegas 2) - having fun with that; terrorist hunt is always a blast to play with friends. Team Leader godly mode. Wish the PS3 version had trophy support.. Socom 4 beta - new modes yesterday - uplink which is basically bomb squad but with respawn. I absolutely hate ANYTHING respawn in Socom games - bomb squad; don't see what the big fuss is about that game type. Just give us our god damn Demolition Zipper! To be honest; I doubt if I'll purchase the final product. That's about it; Gamefly (actually probably sitting in my mail box now) sent me "Alpha Protocol". Skipped over HOMEFRONT in my game Q, which is fine, lol. Already I am off to a horrible start with this years tournament - here's my final four; have one seeded Ohio State (EAST) vs Texas (WEST) - have OSU coming out of that into the finals - w/ Kansas (Southwest) vs Pitt. - Jayhawks coming out on top. OSU-Kansas. The Jayhawks will survive March Madness and win in the championship game. Kansas gets a chance at redemption - deeper team, more firepower. What I have going for in the (Southeast); St. Johns going deep to face Michigan St. - UCLA beat Mich. Zaga beat St. Johns. ... Butler-Old Domain game - picked Old Domain over Butler for various reasons & also had upset over 4 Wisconsin vs. Belmont. Wis. crushed Bel. 4 Louisville vs Morehead st; everyone drew with Louisville. That was a fantastic game down to the wire; Morehead won. Off on that one as well - had Spiders over Vandy. Yes. Temple vs Penn; and earlier today 8 Michigan over Tenn. CMON MAN. Mich, & Temple - winners. Duh. Rest we shall see.

I'll admit, all I do is patrol the Socom forums - love seeing these "Vets" spread word. OK; constructive criticism so to speak on 'some' of my posts; anywho, Zipper sent me a private beta to Socom 4 - my quick thoughts? Respawn is atrocious - can't stand playing it - so i've put time into classic suppression. Don't care for the blundering, awkward camera view - left side as to blind side? Crosshairs suck - can tell made for move or that toy gun - clunky character movement from side to side if you catch my drift - no character customization? Instead I have to play as some CHUNG? - no nade arc kinda sucks, but you would think zipper would have implemented a better upgraded system - Guns all sound the same , for the most part, feel the same - Confrontation Weapon Sounds - CMON. What's the dig with no SERVER LISTS?! Maps, the "Battery" jungle map is god awful. Clutting mess of abound rashes, fields soaking in pure **bleep** - port authority was alright - design was simple with the warehouses spread out - roof tops for sniper point ranges and of course the ship - shipments spread across. Not the traditional established Socom feel. Yes I realize "new experience" yada; & beta phase but give me a break. Strong suiting, appealing to the general fps market - CoD? Uplink tomorrow, followed by other modes. Who knows. Oh and I like the dance/taunt moves in Confrontation much better. SOMAG.
