Fighting head to head? You do realize that the PS3 is outselling the 360 world wide and has every single month since launch. While PS3 sales remain strong and growing, the 360 saw a significant sales DECREASE in 2007 compared to 2006 and is still only selling equal to what the original Xbox sold. Meanwhile, the 360 relies on NA for roughly 60% of its total world wide sales, and for 4/5 months this year, they have lost to the PS3 according to official NPD numbers.

That doesn't even count the fact that at the end of 2008, the PS3 could very well have caught up to the 360 in terms of total sales, making the "headstart" a moot point.

Nope. Short of damage,Gran Turismo 4 did almost everything better than Forza Motorsports 1. It was marked down critically for being essentially Gran Turismo 3: A-spec with a new paintjob and extra cars/tracks. But A-spec was far to awesome anyway.

My fear is P has shown to do this in the past and GT5 will follow suit..As of right now GT5P IS nothing more than a new paint job....Believe me..... I hope the final build will bring it up to spec with other racers..The genre is to small for them not to..

Played both. Gran Turismo 4 had far better handling than Forza Motorsports, to be honest :| And looked better and had a better lineup of tracks/cars.
