[QUOTE="Senor_Kami"]... and your dislike of lemmings and fanboy rants, you should be able to say that Microsoft, in the span of one console, has gone from the new kid on the block to fighting head to head (for second place, but fighting none the less) with the former #1 guy. Despite any feelings you have, thats a pretty big accomplishment. And it happened over only one console gen.ZIMdoom
Fighting head to head? You do realize that the PS3 is outselling the 360 world wide and has every single month since launch. While PS3 sales remain strong and growing, the 360 saw a significant sales DECREASE in 2007 compared to 2006 and is still only selling equal to what the original Xbox sold. Meanwhile, the 360 relies on NA for roughly 60% of its total world wide sales, and for 4/5 months this year, they have lost to the PS3 according to official NPD numbers.
That doesn't even count the fact that at the end of 2008, the PS3 could very well have caught up to the 360 in terms of total sales, making the "headstart" a moot point.
This completely inaccurate rant is paid in full by your friends at Sony. Sony, where "next year is the year" happens.
