I'd say the darkness if you play multiplayer because the darkness has a horriblelagging multiplayer but the story mode is really good so i"d darkness for story mode
Get the Microsoft cables don't go cheap and buy the 3rd party ones. Also, it's useless unless you have something to hook up the sound with. Im guessing your monitor doesn't have speakers and if it does they are probably not very good. Best is to hook it up with an amp or receiver that has speakers connected to it. I play on a 22"monitor and it looks damn good, the stretching is really not noticable. Trust me, you'll love it ;). It even looks good on my old 16" CRT but that's a little Too small to play on, 19" will be fine, especially since it's widescreen.Stealth-Gunner
yea my monitor doesnt have speakers and the monitor that have speakers on them the speaker are really low quality so im glad mine doesnt but i do have an adpater that i thinkg should work i'll just have to see
[QUOTE="CMW16"][QUOTE="kcm_117"][QUOTE="CMW16"][QUOTE="Terami"]It really depends on the size of your monitor and what resolutions it can handle. Also, keep in mind that if you are using a 4:3 ratio monitor, you'll be playing most games in letterbox(big black bars). Some games do stretch from the 16:9 to the 4:3 but not many. It will look better than playing on an SDTV, regardless.kcm_117
well how am i supposed to check that all i kno is that my moniter is a 19 inch samsung LCD screen (syncmaster 920) also its a wide screen
i have that exact same monitor it will be fine, the native monitor resolution is 1440x900, but VGA cables dont have that, so set it to 1280x768 and it loosk fine, no black bars, the entire screen is filled
Thanks, but is 1280 the best or is that what you use ?
its the best for that monitor, because that monitor is (1440x900), so its a 16:10 ratio. 1280x768 is 16:9 so its the closest ratio match you will get, so things wont look distorted ( too wide, too tall etc). I dont notice any distortion even though there is probably a very very small amount. Also, when you set the resolution there is anothing setting under it, set it to 'Expanded' for the most vibrant and colorful picture possible.
ok thats good but what is that in HD terms 720p?
