With summer I have decided to do a nice little playthrough with most of the Mario games I can get my hands on (besides the sports ones like Baseball and Kart). I'm going to be playing (in this order): Super Mario 64, Paper Mario, Super Mario Sunshine, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, Mario Galaxy 1, Super Paper Mario, and maybe Mario Galaxy 2 if I feel like it.

So I have just started with Super Mario 64 a few hours ago and I'm already at 20 stars. I'm going to just go through the game and beat Bowser first, and when I finish all the playthroughs I'm going to come back and (hopefully) perfect 64 and Sunshine since I haven't been able to perfect either of them yet.

Okay, so I was play PoR on my gamecube yesterday, I was close to the end of the level, saved to go eat dinner and when I came back to play, it said that my data was corrupted. I was like "No way, not to me". So just a few minutes ago I went and tried another game, and the same exact message. I plugged in my GC (was playing on Wii) and went into the data screen (with date/memory card/game/ etc) and it said it needed to be formated. Anyone know what I can do to keep my data? It does show the data on the Wii, but not the GC. Is it possible to transfer it over to another card to save my data?

Well, today was my first time in the drivers seat with the keys actually in the ignition. It was a pretty neat thing. It'll take a little while to forget about the Wii Wheel with only a little bit of turning needed, but I thought I did fairly well. I didn't hit anyone, I stopped at about 95% of the stop signs (we were in a vacant parking lot so it didn't matter), and I felt like a total idiot looking at all of my mirrors every single time I stopped. But it was fun. I'm looking forward to my next time behind the wheel.

Okay, so yesterday me and some of my friends from my church went white-water rafting. Most of us were pretty excited because it was our first time rafting. We started out by leaving around 8 in the morning and had to drive around 2 hours and thirty minutes to get to the place where we'd get our raft and life vest. We had a few interesting conversations and one of my friends got pig-tails in his hair. We got on the rapids about 2 PM. From there everything went down hill. Not even 2 minutes after we left the spot where we got on the water, we were stuck. The river had a drop early on and looked sort of like and L just turned to the left a little. We were there about 20 minutes while we waited for one of the workers there to help us out. We did pretty well for the next 30-45 minutes and then our guide went into the 40 degree water. We pulled him in about a minute after he was in but he lost his paddel. One down. After about another 1/2 hour we got mooned by some people we didn't even know (they were on the road by the river). Not long after that we came up to a raft that had been with our group. It was poped. So we stopped on a nearby rock and helped out by another guy from our group accidentally lost his paddel while getting out. 2 down. So one of the people from the boat that poped tossed us hers but didn't through it far enough so it got taken downstream. 3 strikes, you're out.
Hey, remeber the first paddel we lost? A guy on a raft came by while we were helping the poped boat went by with it. We finally got back on the river again and found the last 2 paddels after about another hour going down the river. They were on the side of the river so we couldn't get it back. From there we finally got to the end of our ride. I guess you can only get this stuff on church trips.

Okay, for this summer I'm cutting lawns. I've only got 1 person who's lawn I'm cutting. I'm just glad she's a realtor (alot of houses that will likely need the yard looking nice). There's only one small problem, NO RAIN. It hasn't rained in about 2 & 1/2 weeks! I'm resisting not going and cutting it now just because it would kill most of her grass with the dirt being so dry. Hopefully it'll rain soon.
