Mac Laptop

I just got my recertified Apple Mac iBook G4 12"! It is not that bad for an older laptop.

The specs -

Apple PowerPC G4 1.33 GHz
1 GB RAM
40 GB hard drive
ATi Radeon 9550
12" LCD screen
MAC OS X 10.4.11 Tiger

I got it pretty cheap also. It only costed me less than $290 with shipping.

I did have to pull out the RAM stick and stuff it back in the slot a few times until it was properly recognized.

It also has a pretty good battery life so far.

If anyone is wondering, I am typing this from it! :)

I just sold that old 1.8 GHz laptop to my uncle that bought my AMDAthlon XP2500+ system a long time ago.The laptop was more of a trade. $100+ he had to rewire part of my house so that I could get myTV channels with my foolish DTA to work correctly.

Another sold to one of my Dad's co-workers!

It also came with a 17" Widescreen Acer monitor.

Another Update!
I just sold another system to a guy at my Dad's work! I sold it to the same guy that I sold the Athlon 64 X2 4600+ to. Update!!!
I just sold a system to another guy at my Dad's work! It was an AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+, 2 GB DDR2 667, 250 GB SATA Seagate, Sony DVD burner (fairly new), XFX NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT XXX Edition 256 MB PCI-Express X16, Jetway XBLUE-N78V, HEC micro-atx case, TEAC floppy drive, Win XP Pro, and a Rosewill RP550 single rail PSU.

All for an older 1.8 GHz laptop & $285 - $25 commission my Dad got for selling it.

I had to order a new battery for that laptop. That and a new keyboard for it.The battery is dead as a door nail (does not keep charged.)The keyboard as the old keyboard was pretty much dead. The F1 key was lost and messed up, The left 'SHIFT' would not work correctly when pressing the 'A' key. [The battery came from Hong Kong, but it was a good price. $53.99 INCLUDING THE SHIPPING COST! It took about a month to get to me:| I also had to call up my credit card company twice then, the sellers complained that I did not pay them. I think I will not buy from them any time soon! Anyhow, the batterypricewasALOT less than most others charge for the same battery.Radioshack wants $160 + shipping! A little expensive I would say! If I ever need a replacement battery for it or any laptop, I think that I will check withone of my saved sellers on Ebay first. If they do not have it, I will check with the place that I bought the keyboard from.]

I just sold an older system I recently built to a guy at my Dad's work. Kinda oldish system you may say. This one had an Intel Pentium III 550 MHz, 384 MB PC100, 30 GB ATA Maxtor, Sony CD reader, onboard SiS 6326 8 MB, ECS P6BX-MS, generic Full-ATX case, generic floppy drive, Win XP Pro and generic 300 watt PSU.

All for just $60. I even managed to make a few bucks off it.

I just sold another computer of mine to some guy at my dad's work. This time it was an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+, 2 GB DDR2 667, 160 GB SATA Western Digital, Sony NEC Optiarc DVD burner (practically brand new), PNY NVIDIA GeForce 7600GS 512 MB AGP 8X, MSI K9MM-V, some case and floppydrive I got for free from my business teacher, Win XP Pro and an Apevia (Aspire) 500 watt 'Turbolink' dual rail psu.

All for just $325 - $20 commission my Dad got for selling the thing.

I only had this system "collecting dust" since late December of '07. I would run it every so often just to keep it up to date. Dang internal clock was 30-something minutes off. I also bought my dad's XFX NVIDIA Geforce 8600GT 256 MB used for about no more than 2 weeks for $40. He sent his EVGA NVIDIA 7600GT 256 MB in for an RMAbecause thefan startedbanging into the fan shroud and got an EVGA NVIDIA Geforce 8600GTS as a replacement at no charge. Only had to send the old one in.
