This is one of the reasons why I thought the console could launch at $300.

Then they dropped the 8GB GDDR5 RAM and my hopes were shatterred.

Wait, they dropped that?

i think he is just talking about the announcement and not the lowering of hardware specs.

Oh, I get it. He was hoping for a low price, but then those specs. Silly me. :P

That's an interesting suggestion. I messed around a bit with Kodu (there's a free version on PC) but couldn't get into it. The icon based programming was neat though.

I just checked Kodu's website and apparently its still going strong (at least in educational circles). Some kid that won a Kodu design competition got to meet the President recently.

I have some pretty neat ideas that could be workable in Kodu, and actually uploaded some games through the XBIG version, but you have to be creative to make some work arounds, and I rarely ever had the patience for that.

Plus the object limitations prove it's only made for quick, easy games.

Not to go off-topic (this thread is already answered anyway, so I feel obliged), but is it just me, or did anyone else feel DX:HR was incredibly easy the second time around, getting both those achievements?

Two if the dinner's made in enough quantities. Otherwise, just one since we typically eat out of pre-packaged meals.

I tend to avoid people where possible and keep talk to a minimum, but most of them seem nice.

They would have to make a really disappointing debut with the next Xbox for me to consider going PC only, but I wouldn't mind... - More buttons on the controller. Seriously, I can think of several functions in games that would otherwise be missing without more buttons. - An exclusive that's essentially a game editor. Not just a map editor, but a deep game editor with visual programming that you can share with others. I had fun with Kodu Game Lab, but it's limitations were frustrating for my visions, so I want something with a lot more umph. Actually, I couldn't care less if that wasn't exclusive, I just want an easy-to-use game maker on consoles. - Build a phone-type service in, so I can actually use XBL that haven't been using but haven't cancelled yet.

Food is good, land is cheap. Stick to urban areas if you don't want conservative idiots hounding you more than needed. Summers are hot as hell, and the winters are wet and soggy.

World of Darkness made vampires cool, and then were ruined by Twilight. Zombies are the go-to for any media. We're spoiled by it now.
