So any of you remember that I got 2 CD's of John Coltrane on Christmas? Well, apparently they are 2 of the best jazz albums from John Coltrane out there. I showed them to my band director and that's what he said. He was pretty excited to see that I got them  Anyway, because of these albums, I love jazz music almost as much as the other music I have. Jazz musicians are amazing because they work on music with super fast tempos and they have to count a long time (especially in long solo sections)sometimes until they come in. And then there's so many other things about jazz music that's hard and they manage to do everything great. Here's an example of one of John Coltrane's famous pieces, Blue Train. Blue train is also the name of the album that the piece, "Blue Train" is on. Now, jazz music can be pretty long, especially if it has a long solo section. Blue Train is about 10 minutes long, so it would be great if you listened to the whole thing and give your opinion. If you aren't into jazz music, that's okay, you don't have to listen to it. But if you are slightly into it or a big fan of jazz, take some time to listen to it.
