This is my final hope... To ask you.... Can i use my dvi to hdmi cable connection between my monitor and ps3 only for the video, and my ps3 supplied cable for the sound (the red and white wires of the av cable). Will the ps3 be able to run both cables, or just one at a time, because i need sound for the games an my screen has no build in speakers. If there is an easier way please let me know........ Or just tell me if this will work, please. I can't test it myself, because i am waiting for my screen at the moment. I want to be ready when i get it.......

here is what i think..... Best graphics ever, could have great gameplay, best animation ever, best movie like experience, could have a great story, and of course it is future war.....what can be better, just look at how great this game looks, again and again.
Ok, i need to know if this monitor will work with my ps3. It is a LG L196WTQ-BF and one of the newest greatest monitors in the world. Although it is a 19 inch widescreen monitor, I really like it and it is good enough for me. Please don't tell me that there are other screens i should buy, because i did some research and still loved this one the most. I mean i can't afford more than this. It will cost me $200 at Amazon.com. I ama South African and can't find any reviews on which they tested this monitor with a ps3. I know the LG L194WT worked with the ps3. This is a newer and better model. The specs (if this could help you to tell me) is 2ms response time, HDCP, 3000:1 dynamic contrast, DVI-D and VGA compatible, well a lot more. I know HDCP is important and yes this screen has it. I will buy a DVI to HDMI cable, a good one. I know games won't look too good on this screen, because i would have to downscale it to 720p, but it beats playing on standard definition tv's. Can anyone please help me and tell me if this monitor would work with my ps3, even if you think it is a dum idea playing on a screen like this, i just want to know if it will work, please............

Ok, this is a simple question....... Which one is the most kidlike? Someone who plays Wii's mario and dated graphics games which are also kiddie games.......... or the gamers playing games like Crysis, MGS4, COD4, Halo 3, Killzone 2, Gran Turismo 5 or also dated graphics games like Gran Turismo 4 on ps2, etc. Which of the two gamers mentioned needs to grow up? I ask this, because on my previous topic (the gameworld needs to grow up) i stated that nintendo Wii is for children. Now let the world decide which of this two gamers needs to grow up........ This isn't about me, it is about the gameworld!!!!!!!!!!!!! So please give me your opinion? Help save the gameworld............
OK, 1st i am not an American, they suck...... I ama South African....... And 2nd you all understood me wrong. All games should not be violent to be good. If that was the case i wouldn't like Gran Turismo series so much. It is my favourite games, ya know. 3rd i am almost 20 years old dumbassess................ I guess you are all like 12 or so. 4th if you haven't noticed but WII is slowing down the progress of games going forward....... I hate that stupid Mario console with all the kiddy games, sure it gots Resi, but it looks like frekin xbox 1. The graphics is crap......... and last, and this is for all the Wii gamers......GROW UP...... If games were only about fun, we would still be playing sega, because that is still fun......... You think games like Crysis, MGS4, Gran Turismo aint fun, well i guess you are not a worthy gamer so to speak....... go f**k yourself............
Yes indeed. Why does Nintindo Wii impress everybody so much, it is for kids younger than 10. Games like Crysis, Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, COD4, GTA IV, and much more takes gaming forward. Nintendo doesn't with their new mario or whatever else. Why does gamespot choose little big planet as game of the show at e3. I mean something like Crysis or MGS 4 should have won, or enything else that is not for kids. I love the gameworld and I am part of it, but really.........the gameworld sucks........it is just too kidlike....GROW UP...........Don't worry i will still play games but i won't care about the gameworld opinions anymore....... At least COD4 won graphics at e3 on many websites, for once not a kiddy game...... I really can't wait for Resident Evil 5 to blow all thestupid websites away with its horror and terror and blood. At least that is not for kids. Really the gameworld needs to GROW UP AND GIVE THE AWARDS TO THE GAMES THAT DESERVES IT.......................I'LL BE BACK THE GET THE WARNING FROM GAMESPOT AGAIN FOR MY OPINION, WELL AT LEAST SOMEONE WILL READ THIS..................
