Codename Kitchenknife A **** Review

Sucker Punch is a visually stunning piece of eye candy. With a decent story and filed in you face fast pace action scenes which you except from director Zack Snyder (300,Watchmen). It is an Action/ Fantasy /Drama movie that just picks you up and drops you over and over again.

The story is about a girl who is wrongfully sentenced to an insane asylum and she and four other girls plan an intense escape with ten foot tall robot samurai's, dragons and a hoard of Nazi zombies doing every thing in their power to stop them. Don't go into this movie expecting the director to spell the plot out for you there is a hidden element that when you get it the whole thing will come together

The special effect in this movie are just amazing as are the fight scenes. I can not put this in to words but if you like how the actions scenes where done in 300 this will blow your socks off.

Emily Browning (Ghost Ship,The Uninvited) plays Baby Doll the master mind behind all this chaos she was by far the best actor in this movie she was the only one who had any emotion, this do to the fact of poor screen writing in some parts but at times the script is not half bad. This film also stars Abbie Cornish (Stop-loss) who plays Sweet Pea who has a bigger role then you first think, Jenna Malone (Donnie Darko) as Sweet Pea's sister Rocket, Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical ) in her first action role as Blondie (love the name by the way). My favorite character is Blue Jones who played by Oscar Isaac I like him because of his over the top look he has to him.

Battle LA Film review

"Battle: Los Angeles is a violent action packed bloody mess. It is just chaos with no point to the chaos. I think the makers of this film said lets make and alien movie and made up the story and script has they filmed. This is a Science-Fiction movie that is just made to be made.

The Story takes place in present times when aliens invade earth for no reason but to take our water. The director tries to give the aliens some personality by saying they fight like humans and fight in an orderly manner with leaders and stuff but they just seem like they are there to cause chaos and nothing else. While a Marine Platoon try to save some people trapped in a police station. The ending gets so outrages and unbelievable at points I was just confused to what was going on the aliens look like unstoppable beasts in some spots and little cute kittens at other times.

The aliens look like a mess up close but from a distance they do look cool like a mix of a machine and alien. The ships are nothing more then a big hunk of junk in the sky. The action and special effects for the fighting scenes are about the only thing this movie does right.

Aaron Eckhart(The Dark Night) plays Staf Sgt. Nantz The leader of a Marine platoon who has a troubled pass and every one seems to hate him for it we are never told what really happened . Eckhart does do a good job acting even though there is little acting skills needed in this movie because all the characters are to bland and cliche. I don't think any other actor had more then 10 lines in the movie

I say if you want to see a movie with lots of action and no plot what so ever go see it other then that stay away.
