I agree the newly implemented, level based system is retarded at best. If the game doesn't let you enter a race, check if your tires are right for the race, as is sometimes a minor detail that goes unnoticed. Other than that, I don't know what else could be wrong.
Ok, so I got a used GT5 copy from Amazon, and been enjoying it so far, until earlier today... my PS3 didn't want to read it and I got pretty scared because I thought the console had crapped out on me only after 8 months of having it purchased (it's a slim model, BTW). I then proceeded to insert a couple of other games, and they worked perfectly. So, I decided to go to a nearby Blockbuster and rent another GT5 copy, and lo and behold... I'm B-specing as I'm typing this. So, what do you guys think happened? should I reach Amazon for an exchange or refund? My copy doesn't have a single scratch on it, and the rented copy I'm using even has a dent on it and it's working! Any ideas? Thanks people!!
