Hi all

I had to RMA my Evga nforce 680 i AR mobo a few days ago and the evga tech guy told me that i will be getting the

nforce 680 i A1 mobo back instead of the AR.(AR has been Replacedby the A1 i guess).

My question(s)

Do any of you have the A1 and if so have you had any probs with it?

My AR version seems to have cooked a mosfet(as far as i can tell) the tech guys also said that the A1 is more stable for over clocking and alsois revamped for the new quadcores.

Im just looking for probs that may be unknowin to me and if i need to watch/expect any issues with the new mobowhen i get it all up and fragin again.

1. The PS3 is a reliable console. Never had a single problem.

2. The online part is rather strong. Not everyone has a headset like on the 360. BUT that also means that you dont really have kids screaming at you over the mic.

3. I dont know much about Racing games. Burnouts comin out soon. Thats the only racing game I like So... Cant awenser this one.

Im still gonna hold off for a bit,as i said id like a few replies befor i buy any thing.

HEH im 99.5% sure i wouldnt get a 360(unless some one is given them away)

I was looking into geting a console for online racing and a few other games,I have a pc built for todays games Mostly for the new shooters,Crysis,TF2,Cod4 etc,I was stuck between the 360 and the ps3(no damn wii comin in this house) But all the 360 seems to be good for is a paper weight as all i see is that they die all the time.

So my questons are

Is the PS3 reliable?

How strong is the online comunity(im from the US)

And how is the lineup for the online racing games?

A few days ago i posted asking if you all think it wise for me to buy one,I have not gotten a real answer realy but i can see that microsoft is treating some of you like **** and consoles are dieng left and right.

Im glad i stoped here first befor buying one,I know only one person that has been lucky with his Elite(so far) he has had zero issues with it.

I have decided that if i go with a console it miht be a ps3 OR ill use the money to buy a second Asus 8800GTX 768 mb video card for my gaming rig.

I am mainly a pc gamer fps for the most part,I am not one of those pc gamers that looks down on a console gamer tho.

I have not bought a console since the first xbox came out(still have the same one) and was kicking around the idea of buying a 360,some of these posts are a little scary tho.

I have a pretty good gaming pc toped off with a 8800 gtx 768 mb video card BUT pc dont have crap for racing games and i realy like online racing,circle track,off road etc.

If I were to ask you all a tired out question(sorry) I hope it does not upset to many of you.:)

Ok if I buy a 360 i was thinking of geting the Elite package and like a 19 HD tv.(dont realy want a bigger tv)

Should I join the console world again and buy 360? and if i do is it a sure thing that with in a year or so ill be in here on this thread saying OHNOZ its dead?

Again its mainly for online games im not a big Single player fan realy and im starting to get sick of TRYING to keep up with the pc upgrades and what not.
