OK, and between the Q6600 and Q9300 i should go for the Q9300 right?

But besides that, do you or anyone think its worth playing AoC on my laptop?

Thanks

---

As for the guy above me, i have a laptop with a T7200 @ 2Ghz, 2Gb of RAM and a Go 7400 with 335 MB of VRAM (64+shared) and i can run oblivion on low settings using 1074*600 as the rez and low texture quality. What kind of processor do you have? Because you probably won't be able to get a decent framerate unless its a dual core and you tweak the .ini file to force multithreading. Give us some more info and we'll help :)

Hey, i was wondering if you guys could tell me whether i could play age of conan on my laptop. Specs are:

Geforce go 7400 with 335mb shared VRAM (64MB dedicated)

2Gb Ram @ 667Mhz

2Ghz Core 2 Duo w/ FSB of 800Mhz

I can play oblivion on low settings (but still a bit above min, still have bloom on, trees, grass off, full view distance, but rez is way low) as well as FEAR on medium.

So can i play AoC on loew settings? I'm getting a new desktop by the end of the summer, but i want to get into the game now :)

Oh, and when i get my new rig, would you guys suggest a 2.66Ghz 8mb L2 quad core or a 3.16Ghz 6mb L2 dual core for gaming?

Thanks for the help.

"I luv halo lolz"

KorJax

I DO TOO! The movies were nice to watch, but they were trying too hard to appeal to what they thought "mainstream" media viewers wanted, rather than focusing on what the game really has to offer.

Because MMOs suck in generaleclarkdog

Not true. But WoW just takes too damn long, especially on lower levels when you dont have a mount. walking sucks. You spend more time doing that than doing anything interesting.

I'm not sure it's his virus software. I have a similar PC and i had a freezing problem. But it turns out it wasnt Norton it was my diskdefrag software which kept accessing the hard disk. Once that was taken care of i could play bioshock fine even with bittorrent and Norton doing their things in the background.

from the last 5 years the best ones were IMO:

Syberia 1-2
Myst IV-V
Moment of Silence
Broken Sword 3-4
Penumbra
Sherlock Holmes: the Awakened
Destination: Treasure Island
Dark Fall 1-2
Sam and Max: Season 1
Shivah

AdrianWerner

MYST! Go for those ones. You'll love them.

Has anyone actually heard about the game being released on PC from a non Swede source?
