Do you think a DS game could have a good level of immersion that really draws you in? I'm thinking in particular about adventure games and RPGs. Have you played any games on the system with a story or particular presentation style which really captured your imagination similar to the way a console or PC game could?

I live in small town where there are only 4 stores that sell systems. We don't even have a Gamestop or EB Games here! I'd been waiting since launch for any of the stores in town to get some Wiis in stock and the store employees never knew when they were going to get them. Last month I walked into a local entertainment store to rent a movie and there they were: 3 systems in the game case with 5 or 6 people looking at them like they were thinking about buying them. They were "thinking" and I was "shopping" so that was the day I walked out with a Wii, LOZTP, Rayman and an extra set of controllers.:D

As an oldschool PC gamer I'm not too familiar with the games available on the Virtual Console. Could someone please let me know which VC games contain co-op play for two or more players at the same time? Thanks!

Cool, thanks for the impressions. I was on the fence about this one but I think I'll pick it up.

Think about it... you would use two balance boards... one you ran on and the other you held in your hand upside down to balance your stack of pizzas!! :D

OK, now I must go to sleep.

I'm another person for whom this is my first-ever FF game and I love it! I like the experimental aspect of the job system. I like to mess with different armor and whatnot to get the right balance so this is another reason why it's a good game for me.

LOL! I never even thought of that. I'd have one for feet and one for hands! :D

When all is said and done I like the VC because I missed out on most of the Nintendo games the first time around as I was PC gamer who went the Master System/Genesis route. Having said that I must admit I'm a bit dissapointed in the Genesis catalog. Where's Vectorman, Phantasy Star II, Shinobi III, Strider and Ghouls n' Ghosts?

Not a bad idea! Now I'm curious to know just how sensitive it really is. If this is the case I could see the pad working like a super-sized DS touch screen.

Considering how well the Wii is selling in Japan I just have to think we're going to see some significant RPG releases in the future.
