I have seen plenty of vizio's that have great picture and they're cheaper than most brands (I am pretty sure that the only reason they are cheaper is because they use some cheaper kind of material for the screen). Really, the only reason I responded was because I saw the IU logo and I am from bloomington and go to IU.

Do you guys remember a few months back when some d-bag posted some weird, totally random Pokemon posting. He wanted a new Pokemon adventure game to be released for the Wii and he made the mistake of vomiting up this bizarre comment: "More Safari, Less Track." Not only did no one know what he meant (or who it was meant for), but everyone ripped this guy a new one. I want to say something so ridiculous that the posting gets like 100 comments of people making fun of me.

Games like Bioshock or other big name, heavily marketed titles make sense as timed exclusives, but why a game like Star Ocean 4? I just cannot see this game becoming a system seller, or even popular enough to garner a need to buy exclusivity for a platform. After all, were any of the original Star Ocean games really that popular. I played 2 and 3, and enjoyed them, but they are nowhere near the reputations of Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, or other popular RPGs.

Another thought: if Star Ocean 4 were anounced as a PS3 exclusive, I really would not expect XBOX360 forums to be as heatedly upset as what we are now. The reasoning behind 360 exclusivity is a mystery to me, because PS3 owners want the game, and most 360 owners probably couldn't really care because they are playing FPSs, music, and sports titles online.

Right now, none of us has played it; we don't know how it really works. If it is so revolutionary, there is no way to predict if we are going to like it or not, because, supposedly, we've never played anything like it before. So, I am just going to be the guy on the fence about this game. I'll def rent it first.

I saw your team, Spartans right? I don't get it, this topic is stickied, but I guess no one really visits the sports games discussions enough to see the invite. Oh well, there will be some other people joining I'm sure.

I am glad to see this thread, because my idea was to start a fantasy league on ESPN. It can be set to private so that only people from Gamespot could come in and play, but then I would have to get everyone's email address and stuff...too complicated. I'll go ahead and start up the league, and you guys can visit ESPN.com and go to the fantasy baseball section. Select "join a league" and search for "gamespot". Hurry up and join though, or it will fill up quick with other people. Let me know if you join.

I think the question is that if the original poster can talk like that (using technical terminology and stuff), why don't you just make your own game?

I don't think people always mean blood and violence when they talk about the difference between kid and adult games. There are two things that I think of. First, most Wii games seem to lack any intellectual maturity, let alone whether or not there is any blood. Second, even though Wii games may seem to have a childish veneer, they often have some deeply challenging gameplay that most kids could not handle. I just want to see more options, thats all.
