Reason for not being on LBP

When I first got LBP, I was pretty excited. Heck, I pranced and danced in the parking lot otw to my car lol. Went home and pretty much beat the story in 3 days time. (I do have to work and sleep and all). Made a crap load of people online. So while trying to get 100% on each lvl, I'd group up with a couple regulars I met on there and we'd wander around acting silly. 3 weeks later tho I'm still not at 100% on all lvls and I still haven't made my own. I just kinda got burnt out especially quick lol.

It almost seems like the online play has gotten on my nerves. Which I don't see why since I've been playing online with mmo games for 5 years now. But sometimes, something about online gaming on LBP has really struck a nerve with people. Sure guys, I don't mind testing out your little made lvl with you! But I don't want to be there 2 hours later still dying in the same spot b/c you spent half a week trying to make the most difficult stage ever created that even you, the god of that stage itself, can't even freaking complete it with the rest of us. WE ALL WANT TO FINISH IT BUT SHEESH.

Also I think Media Molecule messed up somewhere. If I'm already in a pod with 3 other people and someone sends me an invite to join them.....those others should already know I'm with another group. I mean hell PSN tells you, but the game itself apparently doesn't. And if I DECLINE...well that should be a big hint that I don't want to join you at that time. So what does that mean they do? Certainly not to leave me alone, but to send me a spam of 8000 more requests for me to join them, or for them to join me. If I refused the first time, what makes them think I'll give in a second time? How many brain cells have they lost? I have no idea.

And then, I know a little competition never hurt anybody and I'm just complaining to hear myself on this one but.... if I'm with you doing a lvl to help YOU or your buddies get 100% on a lvl, I don't like the idea of constantly being smacked off an edge. You all do realize when we run out of lives all 4 of us have to start back over >_>?

Sigh, I just want to try all my friends lvls w/o being harassed. So I just haven't bothered to even log on for over a week now. It's gotten that bad to me. If I didn't have friends I really liked on there, I'd prolly have just taken LBP back already.

On a side note, I just purchased Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. So far so good. The "pokemon" recruitment of monsters to fight in your party feels kind of weird tho. I just prefer having standard party members. But other then that it's a very enjoyable game so far. I'm only 7 hours into it ~ so I'll have to give more detail on it when I'm farther in it. It gives me a chance to break away from the ps3 tho and dust off my Wii. I did find it interesting that if you completed the first Tales of Symphonia for the Nintendo Game Cube, and supposing you still have the completed story saved on a card, you can insert it into the card slot for the Wii and get either extra items or gald to start you out with.
