Welp, I finally became a trusted user for a show...I found it was a lot harder to become a trusted user than an editor, but hey I finally have it, and for a cool show too; none other than the great childhood show of He-man and the Masters of the Universe!

Walken on Sunshine
by Canadinbcn on Comments
So I just became editor of my second person; none other than the uber-cool Christopher Walken. From his monologue in Pulp Fiction or his Fat Boy Slim music Video Dance to "More Cowbell", Walken is the epitome of "The MAN". No one can change that, well except maybe me since I can edit his profile.
Bush Whacked!
by Canadinbcn on Comments
Alright, here goes...after rooting for the Texans to lose towards the end of the season so they could get Reggie Bush, I was extremely appalled yesterday when I turned on my computer and saw they signed Mario Williams instead. What is Houston's problem? I like Mario Williams, and he is no slouch. In fact, I would take him first overall in any draft without Bush, but this draft had Bush in it! Yes, Williams will help Houston's defense, but at the 1st pick, you draft the best player, not your biggest need. Bush can change games on a dime by swinging the momentum. He is said to be a player that only is found once a generation. You can't argue that Williams will save money. Bush would bring in lots of money, which in turn could be spent on better free agents, which leads to winning then to more money again, then even better free agent signings. It's cyclical. Yet, while all this is on my mind, what gets me the most is that Houston said they want to stick with Carr and have done nothing to really show that. I love Carr. I watched him in college and he is very very good, but noone, not even Elway or Marino could excell with his offensive line. Come on Houston, give him Bush to free up the offense. Yet, did they do that? NO. Did they even give him a O-line member instead of Bush? NO. What did they do? They left him out to dry. I just pray that the sacks don't take their toll and he is able to survive the season till maybe someone in the front office gets it right and decides to start helping him out. As far as I am concerned, the Texan's staff obviously is not. IT is utterly disgusting. They just bettr hope the team's defense looks great this year otherwise the boo birds will be out at each of the Texan's games. If Reggie Bush runs wild in New Orleans, the Houston front office better have the boxes packed, because they have will have no excuses for not winning, and no reason to remain at the helm. As for me, it is time for me to watch the rest of the draft and simmer down, or watch how it unfolds and curse the Texan's front office.
I'm Batting 500
by Canadinbcn on Comments
I say I'm batting 500 because I just posted my 500th forum post (man was it a lot of work to get 500), and fittingly enough, it was about my favorite sport, baseball (hence the batting reference). for those of you interested, this is what it said:
"Nothing beats going to a baseball game...the smell of hot dogs, the cold beer, the crack of the bat, the roar of the crowd. Even minor league games are a blast. Ahhhh, what a great sport, especially if you go to rivalry games."

It's not the Millenium it's the Willenium?
by Canadinbcn on Comments
Man, how cocky was Will Smith when he said that in a song...Anyway, this blog has nothing to do with that, it is just about the millenium mark.  I now hit 1,000 contributions, and it's about time. That's via 112 reviews and 900+ submissions. So ya, that's 1000 contributions, or the "willenium" as the Fresh Prince would say.
The Magnificent 7
by Canadinbcn on Comments
Well, I just became editor of my first person guide, and it is none other than my favorite football player, one of the greatest quarterbacks ever to play the game, John Elway! That goes pretty well with the fact that I am editor of Monday Night Football too. It seems like a lot of milestones are happening right around the same time, but that will happen when you have been gone from the site for awhile. Anyway, until the next whistle blows...
Crazy 8's

Anyone who really knows me knows I am obsessed with the number 8. With that in mind, I just reached 888 accepted submissions! What a Gr8 moment!
Submissions Mark!

Well, I just hit the 1000 submissions mark, although that doesn't mean i have 1000 accepted...infact i have had over 100 rejected. But hey, a milestone is a milestone.
Back in the saddle again
by Canadinbcn on Comments
Well, its been awhile, but I am back to being active on tv.com. while not everyone seems to like the changes on the site, i must say it is refreshing to see something new and provides new interest. from people guides to new emblems, this site is turning a new leaf. I just wish there was still a forum topic that had a list of all the emblems like there used to be.
Oh Captain, My Captain...
by Canadinbcn on Comments
While there are many fine captains out there, such as Captain Kirk, or Captain Hook, or even Captain Crunch, today another captain has made it to the front of my list. Who is this mystery man? Well, while Captain Planet definitely deserved much consideration, he does not measure up to this hero of might. For today, the man that has risen above the rest is no other than CAPTAIN AMERICA. I am now officially the editor of perhaps one of the greatest super heroes out there. This is an added bonus for me, as I am a major fan. In fact, in my banner (long before I became editor of this show) I included an edited version of the Cap (whom I call Captain Canada). Thus said, to the Captain and his show "We stand on guard for thee".
